MIM #185: Faux Stained Glass

Make It Mondays are my favorite time of the week!
Especially when you wake up to find you won
the random pick from the previous week!
Yaaaaay!
This week features a stained glass look with Betsy Veldman and
her super talented fingers. (That's all of her we get to see,
but it's enough cuz all her creative sparks shine through!)

Santa's Sleigh was begging to be inked. Loved the sweet images the moment
I saw them!
The copics really do streak to look like stained glass!
And as Betsy advises, go for the dark shades, so they show.
Snowflake Medley stamps and dies, 1st stamped and then clear embossed.
Pattern paper from Betsy's Make It Market Tinsel & Tags.

Popped up with foam so that the glitter shakes (wish I added more snow!).

I tell ya, Mondays are the best!

  3. Fantastic, Nancy. It really does look like stained glass, and you picked the absolute perfect image to use. When I watched the video, I thought Winter Hills was it, but now I see that your Santa and Reindeer are the way to go.

  5. Oh. P.S.--did you use Staz On ink? And, if you did, are your stamps stained for good now? I'm always afraid to use it with my clear stamps.

  12. How do you do it week after week Nancy? Your cards are always gorgeous! This one is no exception - Just wonderful! I wish there was a way to determine the perfect amount of shaker contents to put in a shaker card - I always struggle with that.
