Happy 40th, David!

40th birthday of a SIL, prompted my card for MIM this week,
hosted by Amy.
She shows us 'Faux Brush Lettering'.

Amy stamped a large scripted sentiment, but I chose a smaller
(Fancy Pants
to go with my birthday themed card, trying hard to keep along the lines of the happy birthday script, and went outside the lines with
the swirly yellow border.
Finally got to ink up Just Desserts, and die cut Big Birthday Candles.
Tried to keep it masculine with some stars (Paper Clippings: Congrats),
and side stripes (Plaid Builder).
Sunrise Impression Plate
Inks: PTI Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Tropical Teal, Harvest Gold, Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise, Berry Sorbet.
Cardstock: Stampers Sellect, Aqua Mist & Shimmer Cardstock.

Amy's beautiful example card and video can be seen on Nichole's blog,

  1. Nancy great masculine birthday card for you SIL. Staying inside the lines was hard for me too. And Amy made it look so easy.
