Pink & Green Christmas

Amy has an interesting challenge at MIM, this week.
We're to build a background of frames for our card.
I started with the Vintage Ornament set, (love!), and
worked with pink and green.

Started with stamping the ornaments in Stormy Sea.
Once my ornaments were stamped with color,
I went over the shell of the ornament with versamark and clear ep.
The indents have Wink of Stella, clear and silver.

Background began with Pale Peony, then stamped Holiday Greens Border.
Splatterings of Stormy Sea, and Mr Huey's white.
The frames are Mat Stack 6, the small within the medium,
to form my frame.
All those little glittery sequins were added last and are from
Pretty Pink Posh.

You can see the effect of the embossing over color

  1. I love the colors you used here and it feels so Vintage and right! I don't know about you but I love those border stamps!

  2. Beautifully crafted! It looks like you used pale peony card stock to continue the pink-green theme inside. Those ornaments make me wish that I had kept my Mom's box of ornaments (although I did keep her felt Christmas décor for the tree skirt).
