12 Kits of Occasions: January '17 'Snow Day'

I'm so glad you came by today for a visit. There's so much to see!
It's time for 12 Kits' January post, and our hostess this month is
the fabulous Jeanne Jackna. (A Kept Life)
Jeanne's kit is all about winter, full of sweet happy papers, snowy
images, and die cuts, and of course because it's 'Queen Jeanne', lots
of accessories! Honestly, she's the most generous crafter I know and a genius with dp!
So get cozy and let's take a look at Snow Day!

Oh those Memory Box skates! Love them to bits! Gave the blades a silvery tone with a pen,
and matched them with one of Jeannes' silver snowflake charms.

Poppystamps Wintertime Fairies fly over a PTI Mix & Mat: Snowflakes die.

Oh yes, Jeanne included the twine, a color I didn't have in my stash.

These sweet friends from Pretty Pink Posh just look better together.

See that little muffled bird on the banner? A piece of leftover dp Jeanne included, cut
with a scrap from a Poppystamps die.

I guess you can imagine what fun it was getting this kit and putting everything together.
This sledding cub just seemed to go with the sentiment!

No way did I use all the papers and elements and bling in Jeanne's kit.
Plenty leftovers for More!

Can't wait to see what my teammates made with their kit.
We have 2 guests this month,
Cathy Weber from Empty Nests Crafter, an original member of the group that Jeanne
invited back.
Richard Breaks - That's Mister Cardmaker to You
and the winner of last month's comments: Marcia Hill - Marcia's Stampin' Pad.
Please go by for a visit and leave some love on their blogs!

Thank You, Jeanne! Loved every single bit!

Beautiful inking too - the ripples in the pond, the skates, even the snow on the top of the Brrrr die cut! In awe of you!

  5. I just knew you'd blow this kit out of the water Nancy, and you sure did! The icy snow fairies card is just the sweetest! Has me wishing I'd saved mine out. You always seem to think of every details to make each card special like the little bird banner on your ice fishing bear. That is such an extra touch of fun! Ice skates hanging from the branch.... genius!!

  7. Swoon, love them all Nancy! Hanging the skates on the branch is such a fun idea and I like your silver blades. I'm with you on the white skates you mentioned on my blog. I don't even like it when they wear the flesh colored skates in the competitions on TV LOL!! I just adore your card with the fairies! You made Jeanne's kit shine!
