Graffiti Word Art with Lexi Daly

Lexi Daly has a tutorial on the PapertreyInk blog this week, creating
Graffiti Word Art

My PTI word dies didn't come close to being 'graffiti-esque', but I came closest with
the happy from Paper Clippings: Birthday.
I started with a few other dies, and worked Lexi's steps on them, but was happiest with
the Paper Clippings die.

I really liked Lexi's word, 'fly'. The shape and font was perfect for the challenge.
I'm afraid the words I had are a bit frilly to call them graffiti.
But the technique works well with die and stamped word.

Love the little bit of sheen the clear embossing gives the word.

I GA'ed the candle flames and balloon.

If you like any of the products I used, you can find them below.
Just click on them and you'll be directed to the PTI product in the store.

  4. Such a fun, festive and colorful birthday card in your best graffiti style, Nancy! The clear embossing added just the right amount of glossiness. The technique wasn’t all that difficult, but finding the right word dies was.
