Blog Hop for Dawn

Hello, and welcome to a hop in honor of Dawn McVey, from PapertreyInk,
who is currently recovering from surgery in a hospital in Washington, DC.
Dawn is an incredibly talented designer, and has designed several stamp sets
available through PTI. I knew she had many, but was surprised at just how many
were listed under Raspberry Suite.
Among them is this set, used to make her card, called Cup of Cheer.

I also used a Cover Plate, Quatrefoil, Dawn designed,
and Holiday Greens Borders, all personal favorites.
Dawn can't have flowers in recovery, but I added as many of her happy florals as I could,
hopefully to bring her smiles!
Here's a peek on the inside,

Dawn also designed the Tucked In Series. This one is from Thinking of You.

Dear Dawn, as you continue to heal and grow stronger, know
that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many who love and appreciate you,
and are counting the days 'till you're back blogging!

Verve Stamps and Happy St. Patrick's Day

The Challenge on the Verve Stamp Blog is to 'make something for a
lucky someone'. Made this card for a dear friend who celebrates
our mutual love of coffee. Meeting at a local coffee house is something
we make a happy monthly ritual.

Julee has given us this free digital printout to work with.

I fussy cut 2 of the shamrock cups, copic colored them,
and then gave them a coat of Glossy Accents.
The sentiment was added to PTI's Notebook Page die.
The grid paper was cut to 4 x 5 1/4", and I added a piece of clear card stock with vines on one side. Green silky ribbon and a few sequins finished my card.

Coffee & Friends

Inspired by All the Little Things has a coffee themed challenge
this week.
Their special guest is Marybeth Lopez, and she and my love for
all things coffee inspired me to play along!

Altenew's Coffee Love provided the sweet vintage carafe, cup and spoon.
The set also has the coffee bean images that I embossed in copper, on
PTI's Dark Chocolate card stock.
Sentiment copper embossed also from Coffee Love.
Tree Ring Background Stamp from Concord & 9th.
The sequins were a leftover from a 12 kits post.
Hope your week is off to a crafty start!
