PTI's 10th Anniversary Celebration: 2016

2016's stamps, dies and card stock colors were glorious!
More of their signature style, and release after release of
irresistible sets!
Looking back at the Christmas release, I think it was their best ever!
Back to the challenge.
One of the sets featured was this one I chose to ink up, Just Desserts.

Strawberry season in the Central Valley is celebrated like a holiday!
There are local stands everywhere, and strawberry shortcakes, pies, pizzas,
desserts and jam is commonplace in homes and restaurants.
So this card is an ode to the strawberry!
Doubled the strawberry dies and piled them high on my cake!
It could be a birthday card, or a celebration of an anniversary,
if I need it to be. But truthfully, my mouth is watering for the day
the local strawberries are ripe enough to pick and enjoy!

Just Desserts
Paper Clippings: Happy Day
White Embossing Powder
Cardstocks: Dark Chocolate, Mint Julep,
Mint Julep + White Basics,
Vintage Linens

PTI 10th Anniversary Celebration: 2015

2015's stamp sets featured from PTI, included this set,
2015 Birthday Tags.

Thought I'd practice my ombre stamping, and did
a bunch of these tags to have on hand.
(You can't have too many ready made tags for birthdays!)

The tag stamps coordinate with Limitless Layers: Oval dies,
Ruby Rose and Leave It Be stamps and dies.
I made a bg wallpaper, before adding my tag and blooms.

Here's a shot of the extra tags.
Don't they look like Easter eggs?
All set for adding to a card or gift.

Staying indoors today, more rain and flooding!

PTI's 10th Anniversary: Love

We're celebrating 10 years of stamping with PTI, and
todays focus is stamps produced in 2009.
I didn't have any of the 5 sets hi-lighted, but chose to be
inspired by Dawn's premier set, Damask Designs.
Using another of her sets, Enclosed: Hearts, I made a shaker
with the flower stamp encircling the masked die cut heart.
The stamps in Damask Designs could be used any which way,
and I think that's also true of the sweet little flower stamp in
Enclosed: Heart.

Berry Sorbet, Vintage Jadeite, & Pure Poppy Inks.
Plaid paper from PTI's Beautiful Beads Pink & Orange Mix.
(Remember when we all made paper beads?)

Double Layer Tags

Hi there, and welcome to Make It Monday on Thursday!
Busy with grandma duty for 2 weeks whilst DD & SIL are
in Cabo San Lucas.
Definitely cramps my tag making, but Dawn McVey's
video reminded me, it's time to get my Christmas mojo on!
And once started, it was so much fun and easy breezy,
didn't stop 'till 8 were done.

Had to give you a peek at all my die cuts stamped and ready
to assemble into tags.

4 mouse finished and ready tags using:
Holiday Greens, Holiday Greens Borders & Christmas Critters.
Like Dawn instructed, I mixed my pattern papers and solids using
the tag dies from PTI.
My goal was to stay with the reds and white.

4 more assembled tags with Holiday Greens & Holiday Greens Borders.
As you can see, mixed up the styles of tags, as Dawn did.

Love this cute little critter! 1st time using this set.
So many possibilities!

Just look at the cute little scarves and
sweaters, presents and holly!
Can't wait to use this set again!

Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Thankful

The Card Concept's challenge is 'Thanksgiving'.

Oh, the patterns! Love them, and the colors too!
Card Concept asks that you choose one of their
many styles when creating your card.
Their designers give you so much inspiration to choose from.
Clean and Layered is my card.

I watercolored the panel from Botanical Blocks (PTI),
and layered it over several card stocks to mimic the table setting in the
challenge photo.
Button and Twine also PTI.
'Thankful' from PTI's First Fruits (retired I think)
banner from PTI's Tag Sale #10

edited to add to:

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge is Thanks.

It's Your Time to Shine

It's time for all of us who love PapertreyInk products to
case the designers who make us swoon each release.
It's harder to pick one card over another than to
eliminate sets out of my cart each month. (sigh!)
But my eye kept coming back to a set Amy made.

Amy's trio of card, tag and envelope, used the new sets to
create a birthday theme.
One of my granddaughters will be celebrating her 12th next week,
a perfect excuse to case Amy!

Analise is definitely a pink fan, so I changed Amy's colors around to more feminine ones.

I loved Amy's layout, with the big number.
(By The Numbers)
Card die from Don't Forget to Write.
Background Basics: Birthday Fun (presents bg).
Tag Sale: Quilted banners.
Sparkle & Shine Sentiment
Tiniest Tags & Tiny Tags Sentiments
Balloon from Scene It: Celebration,
stamped in Pale Peony & then Glossy Accents.
Shine and 12 cut from Shimmer card stock.

I used the same die for my tag as Amy did, Enclosed: Basic folded Tag,
with Limited Layers (scallop) die.
Cupcake: Baker's Dozen on a Cake Plate die.
Banner and sentiment also from Baker's Dozen.
Copic colored.

I love the glossy accents on the cherry!

Envelope is decorated too, like Amy's, with a die cut cupcake
from Colorful Treats.

Just a Note

Hi there!
I'm sharing a card with you I did for The Card Concept's
latest challenge,

1st chose, stamped, and thrice cut the typewriter from
PTI's Be Mine: Valentine,
in Aqua Mist and True Black.
Found a seldom used die from PTI called Doily Details C,
which embosses a doily in a frame.
I would call my card Clean and Layered.

Pink squiggle from Delicate Details.

Rosey Posey blossom and leaves,
Tiny Tags sentiment and tag.
Pretty Pink Posh sequins (3 mm iridescent)

The fabulous Lisa Elton from My Paper Tales
is the guest designer, and her card features a beauty
in a shabby chic style!
You have a week to enter!

The Card Concept Challenge #22 - Thank "fall"

A wonderful Autumn picture inspires at the Card Concept.

Love playing in this challenge, where we must pick a style
from one of the designers and create our card.

I have to say, created the card first, then chose the style, Classy & Elegant, based on
Colleen's gorgeous inspiration.

Background wallpaper created with PTI's Friendship Jar Fall Fillers
PTI: Songbirds stamps and dies
PTI Cover Plate: Deco
Banner created with PTI's: Just a Little Something, and sentiment from First Fruits
Sequins from Make It Market Shakers & Sprinkles
