A little Naughty

Hi everyone! Are you playing along with 25 Days of Christmas Tags?

Avery Elle is the featured stamp artist today, on Day 18 of Tracey's blog.

I just adore this sassy cat from Avery's Dear Santa set, and took inspiration from my
friend, Michele Ferguson's tag today. Michele's, 'shut the front door', sentiment
brought a chuckle, and love casing her touch of good humor!

12 Kits of Occasions October '17: Boo to You!

Happy Halloween Greetings! It's the day before the spooking begins, and
12 Kits of Occasions is bringing you October's post today.
This month I'm the hostess, and I had such a good time putting together a not too frightful
kit for all my teammies.

Thanks to Lindsey, our resident genius when it comes to photographing a bit of
everything included in the kit. Mwah!

No time to waste, hope your cuppa is handy, I have a ton to show you!

Let's start with some brew from Frantic Stamper to kick things off.
By the way, if anything catches your eye, there's a list of products used in the kit
on the 12 Kits blog.

It truly is 'All About the Candy'

Not too long ago Marybeth used this boxcard die from Reverse Confetti on one of her projects.
Had to have it, and loved adding some of the designer papers to decorate it. The haunted town
die cut was included in the kit.

Funny story, my teenage granddaughter is afraid of spiders, which always seem to show up in our
house when she's visiting. Guess who got this card for Halloween? 'Grandma, you're so mean!'

You have to have a shaker in the lineup. The die's from Memory Box.

Kept this card simple to showcase this trio from Impression Obsession.

Does anyone really eat candy corn? But it's like the symbol of Halloween!

I think I used this stamp and die set from Poppystamps more than any other this season.
They are just so darn cute!

Still with me? My last (I promise!) card uses puff paint (Tsukineko Neon Amplify)
to give my pumpkins some dimension.
And that's it for this hostess. Hope you enjoyed it. And hope you visit each and every
teammie and leave some love on their blogs.
I have a prize to give one winner of our drawing, so don't forget to comment!

Hugs, and Happy Halloween!

White Pumpkin

Hi and welcome to a new challenge at the Card Concept!
Rustic Nuetrals

Just look at this inspiration photo

Need some more inspiration? How about this card using Poppy Stamps' Pumpkin Collage.

The die cut sentiment is also from Poppy Stamps and is called Happy Halloween Signs.
the sprig is Papertrey's and is a die cut from Ivy & Bloom.
I sponged it a bit with PTI's Ocean Tides.
As you know, the Card Concept has several styles to choose from when designing a card.
I'd call this one, Clean and Layered.

Can't wait to see your creation!

A Magical Birthday

Greetings to all this Memorial Day!

Playing along with Inspired by All the Little Things,
and this inspiration photo

Sometimes an idea takes bloom, and you just have to
go with it. That was the case with this card.

Just a bit of ink needed, on the tips of the daisies, Amethyst Allure (PTI).
The rest all die cut and gold emboss tipped.
I used the new die from Poppystamps called Ragged Daisy.
There is also a sprig called Massa Leaf Background (Poppystamps).
Sentiment: Fairy Greetings (Poppystamps).
Cardstock PTI, except for the gold stripe vellum (DCWV).

Hope you're enjoying the long weekend.
Gardened this morning, crafted this afternoon, and swimming later!

Before you go, check out our newest

16 new ducklings!
Mama was MIA for a whole month. Finally found her nest, and took her food.
She came out with her brood Sunday after church.

So glad the weather is warm! Much better for the little ones.
Honestly, I spend half the day checking on them!

Happy happy happy birthday

Hello there, and welcome to a new week, and a post
for Poppy Stamps' newest challenge,
'Plaid is Rad'
One of my grandsons is celebrating his birthday this week,
and plaid on a boy's card is the perfect inspiration.

And Poppy's Birthday Stack is the perfect die!
I cut it several times in different card stocks, some plaid,
and paper pieced my stack.

Inside I used one of the stacked die cuts, and left the ribbon intact.
PTI: Birthday Style

Both bows recut in red and yellow, and glued only in center,
allowing the bows' ties to be free.

PTI sentiment: Birthday Trio (cut from PTI's Summer Sunrise
 & Smokey Shadow),
and 'happy' stamped 3 times from PTI's Be Happy.

Play along with the Poppy Stamps challenge here:

Have a happy week!

12 Kits July '16: Christmas in July

12 Kits time everybody! And just look at our goodies from
our hostess, Marybeth Lopez from Marybeth's Time For Paper.
Thanks to Lindsey for another gorgeous graphic!
The perfect way to cool off during the hot summer
is to play in the cool craft room. Turn up the air, and get lost in creating!
Beautiful papers, gorgeous die cuts, and then there were these darling critters...
Here's what I did!

Red and White! My favorite for Christmas.
Loved Marybeth's die cut sentiment, might need to get this one!

Marybeth gave us double sided papers, and this one with the gold dots
had the green diagonal stripe on the other side. After I watercolored the
holly and berry, I lined the image with gold pen to match the gold dots.

Love this little whimsical guy! Had to do a snowy scene for him.
MFT's Wonky Stitched Circles, and PTI's In the Meadow (hill)
PTI: Confetti Toss made the embossed snow.

Put a bit of glitter snow on his nose, pocket & hill.

These 3 elegant buttons were also in the kit.

PTI's Twig wreath just went perfectly with this  happy holiday paper.
A few die cuts from Make It Market: All Through the House too.
I colored the reindeer red and added wink of stella to his antlers.

Marybeth sent these die cuts, colored and gold embossed. Went with the
floral paper perfectly! (So glad I have this Make it Market set to case
this bouquet!)

Finally, I had to make a tag set with the critters included in the kit.

Thanks to Marybeth, I've got a great start on the holidays!
And thank you for visiting.
Can't wait to see what all the others did with this kit!
