Paper Sweeties '12 Days of Christmas', Day 3

Welcome to a special Paper Sweeties Release
called the 12 Days of Christmas!
Instead of mid month release,
we have 12 days  featuring
our newest stamps and sweet cuts.
Hope you have your favorite cuppa handy,
I have a lot to show you!

1st off, a banner created entirely of Sweet Cuts tree and star from
Merry and Bright.

Top tree cut from October Afternoon's Under the tree.
Cut again from Kraft to adhere to the jute twine.
The bow is from Stitched Tags 2, also cut twice.
Between the 7 trees is a star cut from the new set.

Super fun and easy!
If you have stacks of Christmas dp (like I do), this is a great way to use
all that fun festive paper!

Debbie has sized these trees at a perfect 3 1/2", great for tags,
and like I used them, for a banner.

Next up features the coordinating stamp set Merry and Bright.

Talk about fun, this set comes complete with garland, lightbulb, ornament,
  tree stand, and several sentiments.
I 'decorated' my tree in pink, (Paper Sweeties pink!)

I added Glossy Accents and glitter to the ornies and bulbs,
and inked up a die cut tree.

Next up is the other new set called Sugar and Spice

Once again, cut from the new Sweet Cuts die set,
stamped with versa mark and white ep,
my pink gingerbread man is happily decorated
with PS chenille canes and PS sequins.

Red zig zag also from the set!

Finally, from the new set, Sugar and Spice tags.

We have a new baby boy in our extended family.
This sweet tag is perfect with blue and white 'icing'
for Baby's First Christmas.

The snowflake collar is from Homemade With Love.
I gathered 3 stamp sets to create 'Baby's 1st Christmas',
and hand wrote the 's, and st.
Want to see the tag in pink?

Paper Sweeties sequins and twine

Paper Sweeties September Release Sneak Peek!

Hey there, September's in full swing, and fall's around the corner.
I am so ready for cooler weather!
Paper Sweeties is debuting 2 new stamp sets and 2 new Sweet Cuts for September.
We are giving you a peek at the new sets, that will be
available on the 15th.

My DH and I make Pomegranate Jam every year for the family,
and this year we have a bumper crop!
So I'm beyond thrilled that Debbie has this adorable Mason Jar stamp and matching sweet cut
as one of the sets for the month of September.

I chose to paper piece and emboss vellum, and use it as my tag for
the Pom Jam.
I've also doubled it with another tag, in case I want to write a gift note.
This darling jar stamp is the perfect size, and you're going to
love it's versatility.
Come back tomorrow to see it used on a card!
More on my teammie's blogs!

Are you playing along with this month's PS Challenge?

There's always a prize, and you can be our next guest designer!

PTI December 2014 Blog Hop: Silver & Gold

PTI's December Blog Hop Challenge is to use silver & gold together.

Up with the chickens to post this before everyone's up (11 houseguests, folks!)

Totally smitten with the sparkle and shine dies. Cut this one from mirror gold card stock,
over silver shimmer tag with silver/ white striped washi.
Finish with a gold brad, white shimmer star & sentiment.
Had this one ready to go for this month's challenge!
Blog hop is all day, if you can join.

Hope your Christmas was full of joy!

One last pix, if you can stand looking at food this morning.
My daughter made these for our breakfast.

We call them Simit, an Armenian sweet bread, also known as Chorag.
They fairly melt in your mouth!
Grabbing a few with coffee while I post... and it's quiet!

PTI October Blog Hop

It's Blog Hop time at PapertreyInk!
And this time its a color challenge!
Non-traditional holiday colors
Scroll down for 4 projects, not a card in the bunch!

Using this color challenge,

and Make It Market Tinsel & Tags

If you do one of these, watch Betsy's video, she shows you each step
and makes it easy!
(Sorry about the glare!)

Vintage Ornaments & Vintage Ornament Additions stamps
with the Wet Paint Holiday die are versamarked and double embossed.
Wine bottle tag

The bow's from Tinsel & Tags.

Betsy Veldman did these tags using the 2012 Holiday Tag set, which I did (CASED) in these challenge colors:

You can't have enough tags during the holidays!
I made 20 tags, one of each stamp, in each of the challenge colors.

And 4th project is a paper ornament for my ballerina granddaughter.
A shaker snowglobe.

Analise (the budding ballerina) collects snow globes.
Ballerina Beauty, paper pieced,
Freshly Fallen, & Snow Globe Sentiments

Ana is 9, and could do the splits at 3!

Well that's it for now, might just have to try the other 2 color combos.
Can't wait to see all the inspiration today!

Happy Hopping!
