Nesting Doll Card Set

Had an enjoyable nite out with the girls, and celebrated my friend Sophie's birthday!
She saw a tag I did with Waltzingmouse's You're a Doll, and loved the
Nesting Doll image.
Don't you love having friends and family as a cheering section!
Her gift was sealed in stone from that day.

The set of 8 cards, with matching envelopes and 8 self stick seals,
also used images from Folk Art Medallion.
Simple, almost one layer, for easy mail.

Packaged in an acrylic see through box, a matching tag
and gift done!

PTI cardstocks
PTI Inks
Copics
Twine
Pink cheek blush powder

It's always fun just enjoying your stamps!
(And all the goodies that go along with this hobby!)

12 Kits of Occasions, Sept. 2014Use your leftovers & Tag You're It Challenge #7

Posting a couple of cards for 12 kits of  Occasions,
using our leftovers.
As a guest back in April, Jeanne Jackna sent out a treasure trove
of goodies, most of which I've used over the months.
Did have this beautiful script, floral paper, and frame,
made it into a shaker.

The paper and ribbon was also leftovers from her box.

This was a die cut, sent in the card stock.

What to do with the actual die cut?

Simply showcased fern.

I loved being invited by this group of uber talented designers,
and enjoyed playing with all the fun fancies Jeanne included!
To see all the goodies over the months,

She takes you through the year with pictures!

The Card Concept 19 & Simon Says Anything Goes

The Card Concept has a color challenge this week
with this photo as our inspiration:

The bright colors yes, but those leaves, the water, the bokeh effect.
LOVED it all!
Also inspired by Yoonsur Hur's gorgeous card!

MIM #181: Paper Casting and Merry Monday Christmas Bingo

Had so much fun doing the Paper Casting with Danielle
over at PapertreyInk,
this time doing double duty for
MIM and Merry Monday's challenges.

Kathy's playing Christmas Bingo with us.
My choices are right hand, straight down,
Emboss, Kraft, and Buttons.

Center created with Tremendous Treats: Christmas (little birdie).
This is done with paper casting and sheets of toilet tissue.
I tinted the water with re-inker Blueberry Sky, then glimmer misted it after drying.
Colored a bit with sharpies and went over a few places with stickles.
Wreath created with Winterberry die in Kraft felt
Sentiment: Wet Paint Christmas

PTI September Blog Hop

It's Blog Hop time at PTI!
And our challenge is this beautiful fall photo:

A long post, so grab your cup of choice and settle in
for a bit, all supplies at the end so you can
hop along.

Trying not to overuse this stamp, but it's so darn cute,
and it seemed a perfect fit for the challenge colors.

That 'happy' just makes me happy!

Sweet Blush a fall color? But it works with Autumn Rose and Smokey Shadow!

Did this tag, then did a few more getting simpler each time.

Recognize the pumpkin from Scentamentals?

OK, that bucket of rosy berries? Had to do one with
the Botanical stamp!

Just one more,

Hard to see, but Winterberry has glossy accents, then glitter,
which tweaked the blush, but I rather liked the contrast.

Too busy? Almost didn't add it, but it's fun to see 'over-the-tops' too!

Listing supplies if you'd like them.
Can't wait to see all the creativity on Nichole's blog!

Enjoy the hop!

MIM #181: Paper Casting

Paper Casting with, of all things, toilet paper, is what we're asked
to use to create wondrous ornaments and tags.
Like I always do for PTI challenges, I grabbed a handful of
stamp sets I thought would work, and began,
according to directions on this video,

by Danielle.

I really didn't think I'd like love it as much as I did!
Just couldn't stop!

Image from Basket of Blessings & 8 sheets of TT.
That's it!
I did fussy cut a bit and add a tag, ribbon and a die cut from Embellished Elegance.
Can't wait to set my Thanksgiving Table with 20+ of these, and
have the fam ask how I made them!
(and with what!!!)
Danielle, you're a genius!

Festive Friday #40

With this pastel and silvery confection as our inspiration,
I created 3 cards for Festive Friday this week.

Don't know about you, but getting new dies (and stamps!) have to
be played with.
Couldn't stop cutting Hanging Ornaments from Memory Box.

First did this card

Impossible to show the shimmer, just like frosting on a cake!

Then did a 2nd card,

Kept the bg simple and changed the sentiment.
Shimmer and glitter paper everywhere.

3rd card

3rd card made with the leftover dies from the previous 2.
Honestly, just couldn't let those pieces go to waste!

Can't decide my favorite.
May have to play some more...
