12 Kits of Occasions November '16: Happy Howlidays

It's time for 12 Kits November post, and we have
Kim Heggins from Cupcakes Cards and Kim, as
our hostess.
Happy Howlidays everyone! A very special release from Lawn Fawn!
Just look at the whimsical kit
Kim gave us!
And a special guest too, welcome Monika Reeck.

So Much fun! Let's get to it!

Leading with my fav, a jolly santa juggling the days and symbols of Christmas!

Kim sent us these cutouts of dogs and doggie holiday treats.
All I did was copic color them and pop them up with the sentiments that I thought said it all.
Easy breezy! That adorable washi tape was included in the kit.

More sweet pups with their holidays dressings!

Love the bright red and green!

And finally, the only 5 minute card I've ever done!!!

Kim included some fun 2 sided papers, with these adorable images.
I just cut them up, and onto a card base, voila! One cute card done!

Hope you enjoyed my cards today.
Thanks to Kim for the jolly fun kit!
Can't wait to see what my talented  friends have done!
Thanks for visiting!

A Greatful Heart

Happy Thanksgiving to all my dear blogging friends in the US!
And to all who celebrate!
This is my last card, for this year, celebrating Thanksgiving,
and I'm posting it with Cas-ual Friday's challenge:

My card uses a few sets from PTI, Give Thanks, (white embossed),
First Fruits (the vault), & Fancy Foliage Details.
Lots of ink rolling (PTI) and sponging.
Stitched rectangle from Post & Postage.

The sentiment says it all for me, so greatful for so many things,
faith, family and friends. Among them, the wonderful friends
that make up this world of stamping!
May your Thanksgiving be filled enjoying the fruits of your
blessings!
xoxo

Christmas cottage shaker

I did a Christmas card for a challenge I don't think I've
played along with before,
52 Christmas Card Throwdown.
Their theme this week is: Old Fashioned Christmas

My heart beats a little faster when someone hints vintage!

I used a couple of sets from PapertreyInk, Make It Market: Don't Forget to Write
and Post & Parcel, and stamped my cottage from PTI's Winter Village.
My 'snow' is also from Post & Parcel (stencil included in the kit).
Card base is a die from Don't Forget to Write.
You can find 52 CCT here:

and play along for another 4 days

Have a great week!

Thankful

The Card Concept's challenge is 'Thanksgiving'.

Oh, the patterns! Love them, and the colors too!
Card Concept asks that you choose one of their
many styles when creating your card.
Their designers give you so much inspiration to choose from.
Clean and Layered is my card.

I watercolored the panel from Botanical Blocks (PTI),
and layered it over several card stocks to mimic the table setting in the
challenge photo.
Button and Twine also PTI.
'Thankful' from PTI's First Fruits (retired I think)
banner from PTI's Tag Sale #10

edited to add to:

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge is Thanks.

Season's Greetings

Merry Monday, this week, has a 'challenging' challenge,
Gray, White & Red...

Sweet Brigit Norton from Crafting While I wait,
sent me this fabulous bg from Tim Holtz (don't know
if it's still available), and I knew just what to do with it.

Wreath and spray: PTI's Twig Wreath
Sentiment: PTI's: Botanical Blocks 1V
Banner: PTI's: Tag Sale 10
Brick inked with Distress Ink: Fired Brick
All my die cuts were colored with Papertrey's greys,
Soft Stone, Stormy Sea & Smokey Shadow.
I wove some grey twine through my wreath and added
sequins for a bit of bling.

It's Your Time to Shine

It's time for all of us who love PapertreyInk products to
case the designers who make us swoon each release.
It's harder to pick one card over another than to
eliminate sets out of my cart each month. (sigh!)
But my eye kept coming back to a set Amy made.

Amy's trio of card, tag and envelope, used the new sets to
create a birthday theme.
One of my granddaughters will be celebrating her 12th next week,
a perfect excuse to case Amy!

Analise is definitely a pink fan, so I changed Amy's colors around to more feminine ones.

I loved Amy's layout, with the big number.
(By The Numbers)
Card die from Don't Forget to Write.
Background Basics: Birthday Fun (presents bg).
Tag Sale: Quilted banners.
Sparkle & Shine Sentiment
Tiniest Tags & Tiny Tags Sentiments
Balloon from Scene It: Celebration,
stamped in Pale Peony & then Glossy Accents.
Shine and 12 cut from Shimmer card stock.

I used the same die for my tag as Amy did, Enclosed: Basic folded Tag,
with Limited Layers (scallop) die.
Cupcake: Baker's Dozen on a Cake Plate die.
Banner and sentiment also from Baker's Dozen.
Copic colored.

I love the glossy accents on the cherry!

Envelope is decorated too, like Amy's, with a die cut cupcake
from Colorful Treats.

Create Along With Us, all week on Nichole's blog!

Happy happy happy birthday

Hello there, and welcome to a new week, and a post
for Poppy Stamps' newest challenge,
'Plaid is Rad'
One of my grandsons is celebrating his birthday this week,
and plaid on a boy's card is the perfect inspiration.

And Poppy's Birthday Stack is the perfect die!
I cut it several times in different card stocks, some plaid,
and paper pieced my stack.

Inside I used one of the stacked die cuts, and left the ribbon intact.
PTI: Birthday Style

Both bows recut in red and yellow, and glued only in center,
allowing the bows' ties to be free.

PTI sentiment: Birthday Trio (cut from PTI's Summer Sunrise
 & Smokey Shadow),
and 'happy' stamped 3 times from PTI's Be Happy.

Have a happy week!

Snow

Winter fun is the theme at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge.
Sledding Snowman from Serendipity Stamps provided the perfect
winter activity!

1st stamped in Versamark, and embossed in white my snowman image.
Then inked the bg with PTI's Aqua Mist &Spring Rain.
Stamped and embossed the snowman again and copic colored, & fussy cut him.
Popped him up with foam.
Also popped up the Wonky stitched rectangle.
Added hi lights in Shabby Blue embossing enamel.
Snow die also from Serendipity.
Wonky Stitched Rectangles: MFT.
Snow stencil: PTI's Make It Market: Post & Parcel

A Gift for You

Happy Friday!
It's time for a new challenge at Tag You're It,
and our inspiration comes from Diane Jaquay,
with this gorgeous tag.

Diane gives us a lot to work with; leaves and branches, object sentiment,
framed tag, ombre bg...

I did a Christmas tag from PTI's Make It Market: Post & Parcel.

I backed my tag like Diane's,
and ombred the bottom.
Loved her branches, and added some Christmas flora on the corner.
Would love to see your take on Diane's tag!
Birch Bress designs is offering a gift certificate to our winner!
