Making Pinwheels
Ashley did the tutorial for MIM at PapertreyInk this week.
She challenged us to use handmade pinwheels on our projects.
If you're making the smaller pinwheels from the squares die, she recommends (and so do I)
the lighter weight pattern pack.
The summer sunrise yellow paper is woodgrain embossed. (Hard to see in photo)
Vintage picnic, card basics, double ended banner, and leafy border dies
Summer sunrise, white, enchanted evening, leafy green, and spring rain cardstock
Other: PTI twine, baby buttons (Hancock Fabrics), red and white twine (the Twinery)
blue button from my stash
The inside gets the picnic basket filled with flowers from the Strawberries stamp set.
Hand drawn stems and leaves.
This card is off to my mom. She hasn't been doing well, and I hope the colors and sentiment will cheer her.
