Happy Tuesday everyone!
So beautiful today in California's Central Valley.
In the mid 90's is a good day!
Heather Nichols uses crayons to for our MIM challenge at PTI.
I consider cardmaking a wholesome obsession,
and getting Christmas cards done early are not a bad thing either!
Nothing cools as much as making a frosty card when it's there's a long hot summer outside!
PTI's Masculine Motif's stamp of 3 trees stamped in Smokey Shadow and again in Soft Stone.
Then I began the fun part of adding white crayon to the tips of the branches and snowdrifts.
As Heather demonstrated, an inked sponge is applied to bring out the snow, ah, crayon highlights.
Inks used: Blueberry Sky, Soft Stone.
Frame is Spellbinders Nestabilities, Marvelous Squares.
Sprinkled a bit of Fairy Dust to accent.
Sentiment is from PTI's Happiest of Holidays
Rainbow inked with Autumn Rose and Blueberry Sky.
The Holidays never fail to sneak up. Maybe I'll be ready this year. Probably not, but I'll have some cards ready to send.
I LOVE this! What a pretty scene, and such a cute ribbon accent!

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful card for this week's MIM. I love that you didn't go with a traditional 'coloring' stamp for this technique.
