MIM #216: Adding Color to Cover Plates


Mondays are full of inspiration and instruction.
Laura Bassen has a wonderful video on Papertrey this morning,
showing us how to wow with our cover plates!


My baby boy turns 37 tomorrow!
He loves all things wood, and I found some wood paper I knew would be perfect
for him.
It's actual wood on card stock, and takes ink sponged on just like staining wood!

    WOW...who knew?!! I have some of that woodgrained wood/heavy cardstock, but never ever would have thought to color on it! It looks fabulous and you just gave me an idea for my husbands birthday card in August...thank you, thank you!! Hope your son enjoyed his birthday and the card!! :0)

    Oh wow Nancy! My DH would LOVE this card. Love the "measure twice" and the amazing coloring! You can do anything.. .cute and sparkly, and manly man!
