Enjoy Your Summer

Make It Monday this week at PTI has Danielle showing us
a shadowing technique.
Danielle's video and gorgeous card can be seen here:

1st time using the stamps and dies from Bloomin' Cute.
Love the freeform leaves and blooms.
'Enjoy' is also from Bloomin' Cute Sentiments.
I framed the sentiment with Embroidered Frames: Dots.
And the word 'summer' is from Birthday Classics: June.
Nichole posted May's Color Recipes, and I used one of them for this card.
In place of Soft Stone, I used the color Hawaiian Shores.
PTI Inks:
Spring Rain, Enchanted Evening, Amethyst Allure,
Raspberry Fizz, Hawaiian Shores.
Amethyst Allure pattern paper pack stripe.
About the shadowing, didn't like the look of using my copic, might have chosen
another color. Or maybe it was that I inked the bg. Anyway, went with my watercolor pencils together with the copics.

  8. Beautiful card Nancy! I love the color scheme you worked with...Amethyst Allure has become one of my new favorite colors! And your shadowing worked out great adding a colored pencil...I'll have to remember that! And I guess I'm going to be like the rest and add the flower set to my wish list too...always think I have too many flower sets as it is and don't need anymore, but who am I really kidding?? I want (NEED!!) them all!! Anyway, lovely, lovely card!! :0)
