Pearlized Blending with Lizzie Jones this week at Papertrey's MIM.
There my Perfect Pearls have sat, neglected, unused for too long.
Until Lizzie's challenge.
I did it her way, cut my rectangle from vellum,
stamped my image from Botanical Blocks 111, with versa mark,
used clear powder, then applied the Perfect Pearls.
It's my attempt at CAS. Something I am not.
I did manage to sneak in a rhinestone, hopefully won't disqualify the CAS label.
Going right back into the craft room to layer and bling up something!
Haha, I hope you had fun layer and bling up something=) but you also did CAS very well. That piece is so stunning you wouldn't wantt to add more.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower, beautiful card, Nancy! :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! It looks so soft. Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Nancy! Love those pearlized colours against the kraft. Great take on the challenge.
ReplyDeleteI love the soft look of this one. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI think this is gorgeous just the way it is with only one bling to it Nancy! That flower is just beautiful with the perfect pearls, and I think it looks fabulous against the kraft card stock...it's definitely a winner in my book! :0)
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty--it looks like a stained glass window.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Nancy, your card is lovely too. I will definitely try this technique using that stamp as it softens the flower and is gorgeous. My Perfect Pearls were also sitting unused - time to get them out again.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shimmery effect I never tire of--beautiful card, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteLovely shimmery effect Nancy. I love the Botanical Blocks stamps, your card is stunning.
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful, Nancy! I'd say you rock the CAS style perfectly, as you rock every style!! The shimmery flower is gorgeous with that kraft!!
ReplyDeleteLovely Card. I don't think one sequin disqualifies the card from being CAS.

ReplyDeleteNancy this is so beautiful! I love the color of the flower against the Kraft! And the bling is a wonderful finishing touch and I don't think it should disqualify it either! :) I look forward to seeing what you layered up next! :)
ReplyDeleteHeeheehee. Hope you got the CAS out of your system with a big layering binge! This is a beautiful card, Nancy, stunning really. You did really really well!
