I'm excited to be playing along at the Very First Ever 'Twofer Card Challenge',
which just happens to be the brainchild of Darnell Krauss of djkardcreations.com.
Our challenge is to create 2 cards using one stamp, with a 'feather' theme.
Here's my 'twofer'
With the feathers and sentiment from Clearly Besotted: Fancy Feathers,
my 1st card could be for a special announcement.
My pink inks are the closest to happy brights as I could get, with
Tim Holtz' Distress Oxides: Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry,
Abandoned Coral & Candied Apple.
PTI Cardstock, Tag Sale #8 & Vellum.
Card 2
Same feathers from the Fancy Feathers set, this time a sympathy card.
White embossed and watercolored
Banner: PTI's Stemmed Statements
Cardstock: PTI
Watercolor paper:Arches Coldpress
2 cards, same stampset. Brilliant challenge!
Check out this new card challenge, and all the inspiration from
the fabulous designers here:
and don't forget to play along. The winner gets to be a guest on a future 'twofer'.
Happy Crafting!
Oh so fabulous Nancy! Love your feathers and the sympathy one is so pretty, I wouldn't have thought of that, but I love it!! I did a tickled pink one too!! Have a great holiday weekend...hope things are still okay with your mom!
ReplyDeleteMy word those are gorgeous feathers! LOVE the 'tickled pink' card, with its pretty glittery frame and the fun spatters and sequins. Your blue and purple watercolored card makes a gentle sympathy card, which will offer comfort to the recipient. Two great designs! Thanks so much for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Bev
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty and elegant Nancy! Beautifully done!!
ReplyDeleteOne word. WOW! These are truly gorgeous. The colors are so vibrant and yummy and your design choices are top notch.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are STUNNING Nancy! Your pink card is just so PINK and sparkly and is definitely going to make someone smile!! Your 2nd card is just amazing...I am head over heals in LOVE with the colors and the water coloring!! Two fabulous cards my friend! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!! :0)
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are beautiful Nancy, but the water coloring on the second one has me in awe. Two incredibly stunning cards!!!
ReplyDeleteSUPER makes, I love the pink card and the colourwash of the other

ReplyDeleteDiane {Nellies Nest}
Oooh, these are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBoth are so gorgeous and love the water coloring.
ReplyDeleteThese are both divine and different designs, Nancy! I love the sharp crispness of your candy apple and raspberry tickled pink card and the soft and dreamy - yet colorful - sympathy card! Very well done! Thank you so much for the shoutout and for playing, my friend! I appreciate your enthusiasm!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteThese are both so stunning! I love the artsy feel and the colors you chose, both of these have "flow of color" that looks absolutely magical!
ReplyDeleteI was amazed when I saw these on instagram, but only now had the chance to come over to tell you how beautiful they both are! Your color combinations really draw my eye, but the spattering of gold and pink on your tickled pink card, and the wash of color on your sympathy card bring out the wow factor! Thanks for joining in on the fun over at Twofer Card Challenge, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors, and you used them so beautifully! The tickled pink card is wonderful and the blue and purple looks so amazing and elegant--a truly gorgeous sympathy card!
ReplyDeleteGreat colors and cards!
ReplyDeleteFab cards. You have really taken the fun of pink on one card and the peace and solemnity of the blue on the sympathy card to fabulous designs.
ReplyDeleteI love your submission to the tender challenge. The feathers were showcased wonderfully with the two different techniques.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are lovely, Nancy.
