Very Merry

Merry Monday is featuring a photo and color scheme chosen by
Marcia Hill, this week.

Kraft and Red! Love the theme, and couldn't wait to join the fun.

It's an all PTI card.
My wreath was created with PTI's Beautiful Berries: Winter.
Stag is from Dash Away All,
 To The Point: Edgers die
Plaid Builders, and bow from Merry Kiss-mas.
A bit hard to see, but I scored the bg with my score buddy.

Season's Greetings

Merry Monday, this week, has a 'challenging' challenge,
Gray, White & Red...

Sweet Brigit Norton from Crafting While I wait,
sent me this fabulous bg from Tim Holtz (don't know
if it's still available), and I knew just what to do with it.

Wreath and spray: PTI's Twig Wreath
Sentiment: PTI's: Botanical Blocks 1V
Banner: PTI's: Tag Sale 10
Brick inked with Distress Ink: Fired Brick
All my die cuts were colored with Papertrey's greys,
Soft Stone, Stormy Sea & Smokey Shadow.
I wove some grey twine through my wreath and added
sequins for a bit of bling.

Oh Holy Night

Make It Monday with Lizzie Jones, and Dry Brushing our background.
Love this technique!
Did a few, while the brush was wet,
and can't wait to use them again.

You wouldn't believe that I used Pinefeather for my ink,
it lightened up so much. It looks like aqua mist.
Tried to keep the sides a bit darker than the center, so my snowflake would
seem to be glowing.
Christmas Faith, Snowflake Medley,
Glossy Accents

Also playing along at Merry Monday,
where the theme this week is 'Birds'.

Merry Monday #219 {Birds}

Spent the morning baking,
with these delicious results!

Our persimmons are ripe, and they make the best chewy cookies!
These are filled with dates, raisins and pecans.
Wish I could send you all some!
Have a great week!

With Joy

Mid week, blogging friends, and playing along with
Merry Monday, a Christmas card challenge, with this inspiration:

Plaid!
I love plaid! Any plaid, so I have lots of plaid paper.
But couldn't find one that I wanted to use,
so I made my own with PTI's Plaid Builder.
Let me just say, much easier with my misti!

Loop de Loop border die provided my 'trim'.
What the Doodle: Tea Time
Spruce & Sprigs
Tiny Tags

I  die cut the tea cup from shimmer card stock, but it's hard to photograph.
Also added red glitter stickles to the heart.

A few more days to play!
Thanks for the visit, and happy crafting!

Love from Our Home

Good Weekend Morning!
I have a card for a couple of challenges,

Merry Monday's Vintage/Retro Theme
and Happy Little Stampers' Anything Goes With Dies

So happy to see a vintage themed challenge!
Perfect excuse to use the new Post and Parcel kit!

The dies in this kit are amazing!
Mounted a sponge inked linen card stock with an oval window, over another
piece of card stock that was also sponge inked.
And all over a pattern piece included in the kit.
All stamps and dies included in the kit.
Mailbox flag & ornaments embossed with Ranger's Liquid Platinum.
I used a silver gel pen to add a shimmer to the bough's fir,
and note up top.

PTI's Make It Market: Post & Parcel
PTI Inks: Pale Peony, Aqua Mist, Fine Linen, Pure Poppy, Summer Sunrise,
Terracotta Tile, Pinefeather & Ocean Tides.
White EP on Mailbox.

MIM #181: Paper Casting and Merry Monday Christmas Bingo

Had so much fun doing the Paper Casting with Danielle
over at PapertreyInk,
this time doing double duty for
MIM and Merry Monday's challenges.

Kathy's playing Christmas Bingo with us.
My choices are right hand, straight down,
Emboss, Kraft, and Buttons.

Center created with Tremendous Treats: Christmas (little birdie).
This is done with paper casting and sheets of toilet tissue.
I tinted the water with re-inker Blueberry Sky, then glimmer misted it after drying.
Colored a bit with sharpies and went over a few places with stickles.
Wreath created with Winterberry die in Kraft felt
Sentiment: Wet Paint Christmas

Merry Monday #124 Presents/Gifts!

Merry Monday's challenge this week was to use a present or gifts
on our card.

We're into September, and thinking holiday is
a welcome relief to our
warm dry weather.
I took inspiration from the rustic brown paper packages
tied with string!

Also love to get out my Melissa Phillips files,
and her layering with vellum!
Believe stamp set Santa, paper pieced.
Pencil colored robe, to mimic plaid.
Fuzzy glitter on whites.
Gifts are stamped, and colored with white gel, green copic (leaves), and red Stickles.
Double tree, bottom from In the Meadow, top from Believe
Looking at all the Christmas stash on my worktable just makes me happy!

Merry Monday #122

Use Black, Gold & Silver, says Sue on Merry Monday's Challenge.

Christmas will be here before we know, so getting
some cards done with the Merry Monday gals.

Started with the Addison Ornament die from Memory Box and
it's background die.
Glittered it up with silver and gold.
Created the background from Waltzingmouse's Pinstripe, first with
black emboss, then turning the stamp and embossing again
with Winter Wonderland from Stampendous.
Oval Window popped up with foam from Lil Inkers.
Sentiment from Waltzingmouse: Seasonal Flouish
All Shimmer cardstocks, except the vellum.
