The Flower Challenge July: Be Inspired By the Colours in the Photo

Hi there flower fans!
A new challenge for us at The Flower Challenge for the month of July,
'Be Inspired by the Colors in the Photo'
Oh the inspiration! Couldn't wait to use Tim Holtz' Brushstroke Flowers.

My bg is a smooshing technique with Ripe Persimmon and Salvaged Patina Oxide Inks.

The script sentiment is from SSS, (Happily Ever After) first cut from copper card
stock, then backed with Stormy Sea (PTI).

We recently attended 3 weddings, my stash for newlyweds is depleted.
This will come in handy!

Play along through the 25th of July, We love seeing your creative cards!

The Flower Challenge September: Include a Stamped Flower

Hello September!
We're celebrating stamping  at  The Flower Challenge this month, and you're
invited to use a stamped flower on your card.

I love this shuttered window die, and it's interactive opening. My window
opens to an all  over floral image (the Greetery)

I added stamped Morning Glories (The Greetery), and deepened parts of  the stamping
with  colored pencils.

Finally, the blessings sentiment.  (The Greetery)

Hope  your challenges this month include The  Flower Challenge!

Reminder #85 'Anything Goes' and 7th Birthday

We're celebrating a birthday over at The Flower Challenge, and our theme
this month is 'Anything Goes'.

A special celebration calls for a special flower, and my card features Altenew's
very glamorous  'Golden Days.'

First hotfoiled, then stenciled, with a slight darkening  with pencil, simply done before
adding the  die cut sentiment.

There's still plenty of time to join the  celebration.
The post closes on the  25th.

Happy 7th Birthday Flower  Challenge!
