Day 22: 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Day 22, 25 Days of Christmas Tags... how can it possibly be true? Day 22? 

Moving along, and the sponsor today is Erin Lee Creative, a company I wasn't 

familiar with, and no stamps in the stash. Love that Tracey is introducing all

of us to such diversity!

I chose Lindsey's tag for the reindeer head, round tag shape, & overall 

simplicity, and hoped to get close with what I had.

Tags are round, (PTI: Basic Cut Tag), reindeer head (Ellen Hudson), super simple!

Success! Gorgeous foil and glitter papers from Memory Box.

And note, sweet reindeer ribbon is from Target, a couple of years ago. Glad to

finally use it!

Day 13 at the 25 Days of Christmas Tags, features Technique Tuesday.

Woe is me! I lack their product. But fell in love with this sweet cup of

peppermint cheer from Teri Anderson,

Cheery greetings picked up with some PTI products,

complete with frothy peppermint!

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 4

Day 4 of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags welcomes Reverse Confetti.

I went through my stash of RC to look for Christmas stamps, and 

found none! 

Not to worry, I have their Scalloped Tag Layer and Topped Off Tag,

and combined them and with the center of the 

Sand Dollar die.

Ink Sponged bg and sentiment from PTI's 2012 Holiday Tags, and done!

A perfect gift tag for a son and family that lives on the coast.

Jeanne Jackna's tag, using the Topped Off tag die, and her use of cool blue inspired me.

Honestly? Jeanne always inspires me!

Playing with Holiday Tag Along

Hi there!

Had some time this weekend and played around with Betsy's new Holiday Tag Along set.

All but one are preprinted, with die cuts from other PTI sets.

I loved Melissa's release post featuring what could be done with this sweet set,

and followed her example of decorating the pre printed tags with some images

from the umpteen other PTI Christmas sets I have.

Honestly? So simple! Most of these were die cuts I saved from other  projects. I usually 

cut several at a time, just in case I flub, I don't have to stop what I'm doing to cut another image.

Christmas Critters, and that holly bling in the corner, and that's it!

And I think there's a few snowflakes from Quilted Winter too.

The beautiful snowflake sprig is from Quilted Winter, and I just cut an end off and 

added it to the top corner. 

The last tag is cut with the set's included dies, and a few Tinsel & Tags gold embossed die cuts.

If you look closely you can see the gold edging I added with my Deco Color gold pen.

All of these came together so easily, I can't wait to do more!

A Set of Tags

Create Along With Us, this week at PTI,

where we get to CASE the fabulous designers!

This is KayMiller's card and tag set featuring a new release,

Color Pop Butterflies, by Betsy Veldman.

Those tags caught my eye!

Using pattern paper and coordinating stamps and dies,

Kay's tags are a quick and easy way to have tags handy 

to pop onto a gift or card.

Honestly, once I got started, it was hard to stop!

I settled on Dawn's Vintage Linen's set, with the matching stamps and dies,

but PTI has many you can choose.

6 came together rather quickly!

The beautiful book of pattern papers give you a list of inks that match.

On a few of them, I doubled the bloom.

Just place the die to hi light the image you want to show,

stamp a sentiment, and pop on the bloom & leaves.

My favorite is the last tag, stamped with the line and full inked Pure Poppy.

Love anything red & white!

The hardest part is choosing what precious papers to part with! LOL!
