The Card Concept Happy Easter

It's a new season, and we're welcoming spring with a new challenge at
The Card Concept Challenge!

Complete with color swatches, and with Happy Easter as the theme,
you are challenged to create with your choice of style.

My card is a bunny silhouette, revealing The Greetery's Spring Meadow Background.
The die cut is Mr. Bigz, a Tim Holtz die.
The daisy chain is another die from The Greetery's new March release, from the
Ribbon Maker series.

The beautiful Easter script is called Let's Have a Word: Easter, and is cut 3 times
and glued together. I would call my card 'Layered and Embossed'.
Remember, you can use our styles or create one of your own.

Hoping you get a chance to play along!
Have a great week!

Easter Bunny

Greetings my friends!
I'm so excited to be guesting on the
Inspired By All The Little Things blog this week!

This is our inspiration:

Isn't he grand?
I turned this inspiration into an Easter card,
one with plenty of rustic texture.

The bunny and eggs are from PTI's Bunny Basket.
All the ferns are from PTI's Gathered Garden.
Sentiment also from Bunny Basket.
Paper is made to look like a weave, and I backed it
with a strip of burlap, frayed on all edges.
Did you notice the whiskers and tail?
3 pieces of string and a fuzzy pom.

Hope you get a chance to play along.
I can't wait to see how the photo inspires you!

Happy Crafting!

Easter's on it's Way

Betsy shows us her ink sponging techniques on this week's MIM.
Loved her detailed and careful instruction.

I send a lot of Easter cards, maybe close to 30!
Love to do them for grandkids, and children of friends.
Betsy used a PTI stencil, which I completely forgot to order on release night,
so I used a Memory Box branch stencil, along with one I made from
a die cut of Easter Grass.
Betsy mostly covered her front with sponged ink first, I left the white as a bg,
and blended and ombred the inks for my leaves and branches.
Had fun ombre-ing the grass too!
Die cuts from Bunny Basket were Zing embossed,
the posies inked.

A peek on the inside with plenty of room to write.

MIM # 205: Confetti Cluster Stamping

This week's MIM's video has Lizzie Jones showing us how to
'Cluster Stamp'.
Delightfully easy, it creates an image from a stencil to
add interest to our cards.
11 grandchildren has me whipping up fun cards for every holiday.
I used the Figure of Speech Frame die to outline,
and stamped Easter wishes and colors within.

Hippity Hoppity bunny, chick and eggs, and some of that set's sentiments.
Cuppa Love: dots & flowers.
Etched Easter Eggs: words
Butterfly Kisses: dots & daisy
PTI Inks: Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, Sweet Blush, Hibiscus Burst, Lavender Moon,
Plum Pudding, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, & Limeaid Ice
