Day 16: 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Day 16 and the sponsor for 25 Days of Tags is Concord & 9th.
C9's designers  and the 25 Days designers made the most wonderful tags for Day 16,
and I just know I'll go back and make more of what inspired today.
I just happened to have the Tree Ring Background stamp Lindsey Larsen
used for her gorgeous tag. Lindey made several tags and I loved each one!

All those dreamy Christmas florals dies, and I couldn't wait to see what I
could come close with what I had from C9.

If our tags look similar I achieved my goal. Same colors and similar layout.
Here's what I used from Concord & 9th

Tree Ring BG, Birdie Talk Dies, Filled in Florals, Everyday Bouquet,
Tropical Vibes, and Christmas Florals (sentiment)

Stay tuned for Day 17 tomorrow!

Day 15: 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Today the sponsor of 25 Days is Honey Bee. And although each and every tag is
amazing and creative and I wanted to case each one, Becky Roberts created a set
of winter beanies that just called to me!

Becky used an oval die to create her winter caps, just the cutest ever!

I used Rustic Cream cardstock for this one, and ran it through my embosser to create a knit
beanie. Making the pom was easy, roll the yarn of choice around 3 fingers 12 to 14 times
and tie securely in the middle, before shaping with scissors. Hot glued to the top.

As Becky did, I added the to and from to the inside. (Please excuse inky fingers).

Love these tags to bits and plan to do a dozen more!

Day 14: 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020

Lawn Fawn is the sponsor today on 25 Days of Christmas Tags. So many adorable
tags and inspirations, and the hardest to choose a muse!

The top row of Carol's tags with framed tags was my choice today.

I did 2 identical tags using PTI's Luggage tags, some Christmas paper, and Lawn Fawn's
Ho Ho Holidays stamps and dies. The speech bubble is from PTI.

Loving the stash of tags in my workroom.

Day 13: 25 Days of Christmas Tags

My tag today, with the supersweet images from Paper Sweeties, is for Day 13: 25
Days of Christmas Tags. Joyce Mehrburg did this darling tag below, using
Paper Sweeties' Deck the halls, a set I just happened to have! Yay!

My tag is mounted onto PTI's Quilted Winter Tag set. Playing along daily on
Tracey's blog

Hope you're playing along too! So many awesome ideas, and prizes too!

Day 12: 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020

It's Day 12 of Christmas Tags, and today they featured Pink Fresh. The
designers really wowed with they tags, but I zoned in on Anne Fiene's
long tall Noel tag pictured below

I loved the pink and green colors she used, and the plaid, and colors,
well, everything, including the lineup of letters.

I created the plaid background with the Greetery's Square Dance stencils,
and used the PTI's Floral Letters to spell 'NOEL. And all on PTI's
Bookmark die.

You can find all the deets to 25 Days of Christmas Tags on Tracey McNeeley's
blog. So much fun and endless inspiration!

Day Day 11: 25 Days of Christmas Tags

We're on Day. 11 at 25 Days of Christmas Tags. I chose Amanda Wilcox as my
inspiration today, and just look at her gorgeous tags below

She designs for Birch Press, and I loved the delicate snowflake with the
Christmas message banner.

My snowflakes are from Poppystamps: Stained Glass Snowflake and it's background
dies. Banner and sentiment from PTI.
With my tags I also cut a second tag for messaging, because the Background is from
shimmer, and is hard to write on.

Are you playing along? Serious fun each day, and fabulous inspiration!

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 10

Day 10 of tag making, and the sponsor today is Reverse Confetti.

I loved the striking black ornament Kathy Schweinfurth made, and
duplicated it with Poppystamps dies. See Kathy's tag below

The letters JOY with the flower in place of the 'O' is adorable!

Thank you Kathy!

Day 9: 25 Days of Christmas Tags '20

Day 9 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags, and the sponsor today is Pink & Main.
I fell in love with Kathy Schweinfurth's jolly tag, and followed it closely for
my tag. See Kathy's below

On to the Day 10!

Day 8: 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Day 8 of Christmas Tags, and I was drawn to Lindsey's adorable tags below

Serious cuteness by Lindsey Larsen using Avery Elle stamps and dies.

My set is PTI's Holiday Pin Ups, a Make It Market Set.

Have a lovely creative week!

Day 7: 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Day 7 of Christmas Tags, and I used Ardyth Percy's striking and bold tag for
today's inspiration. Her's is below

Simple, one dimensional line design, from Unico, and bright red dotty ribbon.

I used C9's Silent Night stamp set for it's graphic design, and
tried to keep to Ardyth's tag shape, and stamped design.

Thanks Ardyth!

Day 6 of Christmas Tags and Stamplorations is the sponsor.

One of my favorite companies with joy in every set!

I used Cutlorations Luggage Tags, and embellished my nose with Nuvo drops.

Enjoy your weekend!

It's Day 5 for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags. Today's sponsor is Ellen Hudson.
So much super inspiration from all the designers!

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 4

Day 4 of 25 Days of Christmas tags, and today it's Newton's Nook being showcased.
Unfortunately I have not 1 Christmas stamp or die, so I chose Lindsey's
beautiful tag below for inspiration.

Lindsey Larsen designs for Concord and 9th, so I chose one of their stamps from
my stash and used Lindsey's layout, colors and poinsettia swag for my tag.

Day 4... done. Day 5, tomorrow

The Card Concept: Give Thanks

Looking forward to Thanksgiving and 'Giving Thanks' is the theme for the
Card Concept's newest challenge

A beautiful homespun setting is our inspiration, and I have this card for you.

Hard to see, the background Kraft cardstock is stamped with a woodgrain
stamp.  I stamped the next layer with the Greetery's Square Dance stencil
to look like the teal napkins. The dishes have autumn flora in colors of the
season, which inspired the circle of branches, berries and leaves around
my sentiment, all from the Greetery's All Blessings Flow.

Hope you find some time to play along, we love seeing how the photo inspires you!
Hope your week is full of crafty goodness!

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 3

day 3 of 25 Tags, and Altenew is the featured sponsor.

I loved Kim's simple poinsettia tag, and chose it as inspiration.

Kim's tag sings simple elegant Christmas fantasy!

I'm so excited to use my Altenew Festive Poinsettia stamp and die set.
The tag is  Poppystamp's Pinpoint Main Street Tag.

On to Day 4!

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 2

It's Day 2 for 25 Days of Christmas Tags.

It's Joyce Mehrberg's that inspired mine today.

And with Simon Says Stamp being focused, I used my SSS Little Critters:
Schnauzer and Present Shaker dies. All mounted on PTI's Quilted Tag.

Meet Ella. She's my new adopted baby. She's a Doodle, part poodle and part
other things, no quite sure what! Ella's just back from the the groomer in this
picture with the Halloween feathers in her fur.

Day 2 under wraps, on to Day 3...

25 Days Christmas Tags: Day 1

It's holiday time, and time for 25 Days of Christmas Tags. Tracey McNeely hosts
a jolly blog hop each year, 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020 - Day1, complete with
fabulous inspiration, guest designers and prizes.

I'm posting Day 1 on Day 2 with inspiration from Carol Mayne.

Carol's darling tags used Oxide Inks, and penguins on a scallop tag.
Tracey featured Sunny Studios on her blog for Day 1.

I used PTI's Tremendous Treats: Christmas for my penguin, reindeer and Santa tags.

Love this time of year and Tracey for hosting a blog hop I look forward to
every year!

12 Kits of Occasions October '20: Fall Splendor

Hey everyone, thanks for visiting today. You're in for a treat! It's time for
the 12 Kits of Occasions October Hop.

Our hostess this month is Birgit Norton (@craftingwhileiwait), and she sent
the most delightful kit full of leaves and pumpkins, and gorgeous papers, called
Fall Splendor. Well just have a look...

These were a trio of stamped pumpkins I fussy cut and colored with copics. Then I
mounted them onto a PTI leafy die cut I had in my stash. In the center is a
sentiment Birgit included in the kit.

The sweet apple basket came die cut and ready for red and green apples (also in the kit).
Don't you love the red truck and apple basket paper? Paired it with the Greetery's
Ship Lap dies, and blessed sentiment.

I wanted Birgit's gorgeous leaf die cut to shine, so paired it with a
Spellbinders lacy die set.

the orange background paper was the reverse side of one of the papers included in
the kit. Can you see the tiny dots?

Love this sweet little pumpkin! The stitched leaves, papers and tag came together
in a snap!

And finally, this stamped and die cut solo pumpkin was colored with copics,
and added to one of the gorgeous leafy designer papers.

Thank you, Birgit! My autumn cards grew by 5, and even have some
adorable die cuts and papers for more!

Be sure and see what the other disigners have done.
They're sure to surprise and delight. Can't wait to
see what they did with Birgit's kit!
