Hello and welcome. I am sharing a card with you done with some new stamps

and dies from The Greetery's new release. 

The basic nest die was cut from white and inked with several oxide inks.

I added the tiny flowers and some leaves. from The Baby Face Orange set. 

The nest is backed with brown for depth, and placed on top of Big Branches

Ruscus,  also inked. All placed on the Patchwork die, stamped with Spring

Meadow Background.

Rejoice stamp onto a Tear Strip Tag.

The Card Concept: Change of Seasons

 

Hi and welcome to a post for The Card Concept. We're back after a summer break

with a new challenge: Change of Seasons.

What inspires you? The butterfly? The colors? The flower?

I saw the butterfly, and decided to add a butterfly to my card. But I 

also saw the lovely grey background and remembered a card  Betsy

Veldman did, with her red rubber stamp, Fond of Foliage 

from the Greetery on her grey card.

Betsy used an oxide ink, I used my white Pigment ink, stamping several times

until I was happy with the impression. 

Hollyhock Stems is a multi-stamp process, and I used several inks from

 Concord & 9th and Altenew.

Jumbo Butterfly is also from the Greetery, and is stenciled, and color penciled.

Sentiment from Arched Sentiments and is white embossed.

The Card Concept: Harvest Adventures

 

You've picked a wonderful day for a visit! The Card Concept has a new challenge, and it's 

full of Autumn inspiration!

Colors? Leaves? Truck? Fall Season? Like I said, lots of inspiration.

My style is full of layers, and it's not really clean, so I'm going with 'stamped and layered card'.

Perfectly alright to choose your own style (or make one up!).

I definitely stuck to the color swatches on the inspiration photo.

Here's a closeup of how I arranged some of the Greetery's Botanicuts under the stamped leaf.

2 Easter Cards

Hi all! Finally had a chance to create with the Greetery's Spring release.

This set, Easter Jubilee, came with just about everything I needed to make

my Easter cards.

While the set was on my desk I made 2 cards, 2 different color ways. 

You start with stenciling, and stamping, and die cuts finish the card.

2 layers of contrasting Cardstock were added to each letter.

The second card began with cutting the letters out with purple glitter paper.

I tried to vary the color up a bit using Betsy's method of sponging ink onto

the stamp.

You can see the aqua cardstock behind the letters.

These were fun and easy, and I think I'll do a few more. 

You know that song in Aunty Mame, 'We Need a Little Christmas'?

Well, I think we definitely need a BIG Easter right now. 

Put decorations out. Add some spring joy to your front yard for the

neighbors to enjoy. Bake your favorites.
