MIM #221: Masking Sentiments

Ashley shares tips on masking on this week's MIM.
She masks the sentiment, and stamps around,
creating visual impact to the sentiment.

I chose Still Life Summer, together with it's sentiment,
masked it, and began stamping the fruits.
What a fun set to stamp by Betsy Veldman!
Enjoy is ombre Limeaid Ice, Berry Sorbet & Pure Poppy.
When done stamping, pinked the left edge,
mounted on a piece of Berry Sorbet,
added twine, and the mini tag from SAF (couldn't wait to begin using!)
and a couple of Melon Berry buttons.
Wish I had more of that happy plaid paper, also from Still Life Summer,
it's a favorite, and it's the last piece.

The 'happy' on the mini tag is from Pretty Petals.
It's because the whole idea of summer fruit just makes me happy!

  1. Oooooh, love everything about this bright and summery card Nancy! Your fruit looks good enough to eat, and I can see why you're bummed about not having anymore of the plaid paper...it is so colorful and pretty! And of course your masked sentiment is perfect nestled in among the fruits!! Love that pinked edge too...something so simple but it really packs a punch! Amazing card!! :0)
