Christmas Cards

Loved this Tim Holtz set of ornaments from Sizzix, and the fun festive script of the Merry
Christmas! Kept the colors traditional and paired it with the Nordic Frames from
The Greetery.

Easy to mail too!

Liked it so much, made 3!

Hope your Christmas is a merry one!

The Greetery's Winterberry set

Merry Christmas friends!
I'm sharing a set of cards made with The Greetery's Winterberry set, my favorite from
this year!

Very traditional colors on my card, with vintage vibes. Being a lover of all things colorful,
I kept theberries bright and vibrant. The pink and aqua blue remind me of the 30's
retro kitchens. I love the sweet happy vibes from all things retro!

I made a total of 5 cards with this design, keeping the layout the same, and changing
the sentiments from The Greetery's Opposites Attract.

I also made matching envelopes for my cards, using the largest single berry for the
front of the envelope.

Just set your stamps in the Misti and stamp each envelope in the same position.

Such a fun card to make over and over!

Time to address envelopes. Do you set a day in December to get your cards out?
My day is the 10th. We'll see if that holds true this year. Have a few sets that I just got
calling me, in their packaging, staring at me on my worktable...

Have a wonder filled holiday!

C9's Card Stacks Base

Merriest of Holidays to you all!

I made 3 cards with the new Concord & 9th Card Base Die and Home for the Holidays
Die set. Just too cute! Saw Wanda Guess's spectacular card during the release,
have the sets!

The nighttime background with dark blue cardstock really lets the snowflake embossing
stand out.

So I made 2 with the dark background, only changing the roofs from white to red.
It's so much fun putting the little houses together!

A top view shows the 3 stacks the houses attached to, the bases, with a few of the trees
glued on the background.

The 3-D diorama folds and fits perfectly inside an A2 envelope.

Such fine detail, with a jolly result!

Speaking of jolly, hope your holiday is a jolly one!

The Card Concept: Peace on Earth

Greetings, all!

The Card Concept has a new challenge, Peace on Earth.

So much inspiration for your holiday card. And colors too!

I chose the prominent wreath as my main element, and constructed my own from
The Greetery's Rustic Wreath. All pieces die cut from watercolor paper and spritzed
before stamping. I added some berries from Merry Sprigs, and mounted my wreath on
The Greetery's Deco Frames die. Bow is from Fit to be Tied.

The Rustic Wreath has a base die, and the branches are arranged around that base, tucking
in the ends. The ends are the only part I glued in place. You can see the dimension in this
photo.

I hope this time of year brings you joy as we remember the reason for the season!
Blessings, friends!

A Card for Ana

My Granddaughter recently turned 17, and I made this card for her.

The number 17 (the Greetery), is encircled by Altenew's Mid Century Frame die.

The card is sprayed with a shimmer spray, to give it even more glam.

Happy Birthday, Ana!

Stained Glass with the Greetery's Cathedral Die

Greetings and Hope your holidays are full of happy creativity.
I recently watched a You Tube video by Kristina Werner on creating
a stained glass look, and thought it would be perfect with the Greetery's
new Cathedral Die.

The die is first cut in gold foil, the backed with acetate. The acetate is colored with Copic
markers, and the back is left open to resemble a stained glass look.

It really does resemble a stained glass window.

All product is from The Greetery's Christmas release, and Pine Bough pinecones.
The word, 'JOY' is gold embossed twice.

Really enjoyed this technique, thank you Kristina!

Have a wonderful week!

The Card Concept: Rustic Holiday

Welcome! We're featuring a new challenge at the Card Concept, Rustic Holiday.

So much inspiration in this photo! And Julie has given us colors as well.

My card features all Poppystamps dies and cardstock today.

The Magical snowflake was embossed several times to mimic the tin snowflake in the
upper right corner.

Hope you play along. We love seeing your take on the inspiration!

Have a great week!

Trio of Christmas Cathedral Cards

The most wonderful time of the year is quickly upon us, and I'm fully into all
things Christmas. (I started Christmas decorating the day after Halloween!)
The craftroom is glittered and glowing with new stamps and dies, and I try
to spend a few hours each day enjoying the new orders.

Cathedral die from the Greetery was one of the newbies. It has a set of stencils that
allow you to play with color.

The first card I made was on a Soft Stone background with the Greetery's Brick Layer die.
I made a stencil with the die and vellum, allowing a brick shadow effect.
Pine Wisp die and Opposites Attract Holiday and Holiday Script.
With those items I did a trio of Christmas cards.

The second card is on a cream bg, with brighter windows, and a copper embossed sentiment.

All 3 cards are sprayed with a glitter spray, and all have chunky glitter added to the pine.

And the 3rd, on a nighttime background.

Such a fun set, and so easy to whip up a striking card!

How are you holiday cards coming? Hope I gave you some inspiration today.
Enjoy the season, friends.

The Card Concept: Beautiful Bounty

Hello November! And hello to you!

The Card Concept's newest inspiration is this warm table setting, complete with
color swatches to spur your creativity.

My card began with the Greetery's Square Dance stencils in black and grey
(the napkin), and from there it was all layers! My joy comes from assembling a layered
card front, and then get it look like I imagined. What inspires you? A story?
A sweet stamp? New die cuts?

Take a look at our photo for inspiration, pick a style and create a card!
Don't forget to include our photo on your post to be eligible to win the challenge.

Have a wonderful, crafty week!

Christmas Curio Ornaments - 2

A second Christmas Curio Ornament card, this time with a darker red box top
and aqua trimmings.

Much deeper colors, and just a few changes, (the deer, and ornament decorations.

My new Lightbox really captures the bling of the glitter! I'm beginning to like it.

I gave the little deer some holly and berries on this card, and put the bow on the
wreath. Also used lots of foil and glitter cardstock.

I have a few more card fronts and several tiny ornament pieces, so I think I'll put
together a few More of these curio cards.

How's your Christmas stash coming along?
