12 Kits of Occasions October '20: Fall Splendor

Hey everyone, thanks for visiting today. You're in for a treat! It's time for
the 12 Kits of Occasions October Hop.

Our hostess this month is Birgit Norton (@craftingwhileiwait), and she sent
the most delightful kit full of leaves and pumpkins, and gorgeous papers, called
Fall Splendor. Well just have a look...

These were a trio of stamped pumpkins I fussy cut and colored with copics. Then I
mounted them onto a PTI leafy die cut I had in my stash. In the center is a
sentiment Birgit included in the kit.

The sweet apple basket came die cut and ready for red and green apples (also in the kit).
Don't you love the red truck and apple basket paper? Paired it with the Greetery's
Ship Lap dies, and blessed sentiment.

I wanted Birgit's gorgeous leaf die cut to shine, so paired it with a
Spellbinders lacy die set.

the orange background paper was the reverse side of one of the papers included in
the kit. Can you see the tiny dots?

Love this sweet little pumpkin! The stitched leaves, papers and tag came together
in a snap!

And finally, this stamped and die cut solo pumpkin was colored with copics,
and added to one of the gorgeous leafy designer papers.

Thank you, Birgit! My autumn cards grew by 5, and even have some
adorable die cuts and papers for more!

Be sure and see what the other disigners have done.
They're sure to surprise and delight. Can't wait to
see what they did with Birgit's kit!

Keeping Christmas: October

Greetings to all lovers of Christmas!
It's time for our Keeping Christmas Blog Hop, a group of friends who post
on the 25th of each month (minus December), with inspiration for holiday
projects and cards.

Fortunately my Christmas Greetery order arrived in time to make a set I had in mind
ever since the stamps and dies were sneak peek-ed!

The sprayed panel background was in my stash, sprayed with Lindy's Starburst.

The card is a shaker filled with snow. The Greetery's Destination North Pole was
such fun to work with!

The tag is another new Greetery set: Wood Slices.

If you've followed me through the year, each and every card I made includes
a matching envelope. So nice to have them ready to send. This one also
has it's own matching seal, a stamp and die Betsy had in the set. LOVE
that she thinks of everything! I have sheets of label paper you can stamp on
and then die cut. The back then peels off and seals the envelope flap.

Glammed things up a bit with Stickles and Nuvo drops

Hope you enjoyed this month's Keeping Christmas.
Be sure to hop by and see what the other designers have done!

2 Halloween Cards

Hi folks! I'm on the Poppystamps Blog today with a couple of 'Boo' cards, just
in time for some Halloween inspiration.

Check out the deets here:

Happy Boo Day! Any plans? We do a 'Trunk or Treat' at our church.
We will be practicing some safe distancing, and other measures to
keep everyone well, while having fun. It's a strange new world, isn't it?
Did you hear there's going to be a full moon on Halloween night?

The Card Concept: Autumn Blessings

Autumn Blessings my friends! Hope you are enjoying cooler weather, and all
the blessings that come with the season.
Speaking of Autumn Blessing, we're starting a new challenge at the Card Concept
that just happens to be titled, Autumn Blessings. Here's the photo

Rich colors, textured contrasts, and full of inspiration!
Julie Gearinger picks our photos, and she's been hitting it out of the park!
I zoned in on that silver aluminum pail, and all the layers of flora in the
photo.

Style? Mixed media; watercolor, embossing and stencil paste, and lots of layers too!

I used a couple of sets from the Greetery, (supplies at end of post), and used the pitcher
from Pitcher-esque.

You barely see it, but on the left of the card is a pewter pitcher, that was a gift to my
mom from her great aunt in Boston. We used that pitcher every Thanksgiving, and
it graced our table during the holidays. I loved it so much, my mom gave it to me,
and it continues bringing beauty to my table on special occasions.

The pitcher is filled with watercolored autumn leaves, and I brushed on embossing
ink along the edges before adding gold embossing powder. Just couldn't be
happier with this inspiration photo. There's so much to be inspired by, and I
can't wait to see what you all create!

Have a wonderful creative, crafty week!

The Card Concept: Around the World

Hello Card Concept fans! It's time for a new challenge, and we have this photo
as inspiration:

Around the World is our theme, and I focused right in on that
Glorious Globe! Decided to tuck in some of the blooms too.

I love this set from C9, and don't use it enough. The sentiments are
designed to stamp within the globe. Really packs a wow of a thanks!

Lots of 'popping' up with foam for dimension, and silver embossing powder
for a bit of bling.

Hope you play along, I love seeing what you all imagine from the
inspiration photo.
See you in the Card Concept line up!
