Mistletoe

Nope, this isn't wallpaper, it's 8 Christmas tags lined up like little soldiers for a
photo.
The last of the 25 for friends, boxed and given.

You could almost call this tag CAS, as it's rather clean, and definitely simple.
The circle for the embossed sentiment is the  center throwaway from another tag.
Mistletoe is cut from linen cardstock, and the berries are copper glitter.

Tag base from Tim Holtz' new release. Loving that embossed/debossed edge!

Merry Christmas!

Tags for Friends

I just loved Betsy's 'Wrap It Up' release! It made my friends' gift giving easy, fun,
and an absolute hit!

For the tag on the outside of the tag box, I used The Christmas Pudding Die. The tag itself
is one of the arches dies stamped with Pine & Berry.

Michaels had these cupcake boxes on sale with gingerbread cutouts on the top.
The tag was attached, and done! A box of 25 Christmas tags for each of my
friends!

May your Christmas be all you hoped for. It will be if you remember
the true 'reason for the season'.

... oh how He loves you and me!

All the Christmas cards are in the mail or in their recipient's hands by now,
but I thought I'd post some cards I've made.

Mistletoe Arches pairs Christmas floral greenery with the Arched sentiments.
Hard to see, but I used the small arch stencil to whiten the arch with Tim Holtz
Picket Fence Oxide Ink. Then when dry added some Coral to the bottom corners.
The stamped the sentiment in black. The Mistletoe is stenciled onto it's die cut.

The tiny splatters are actually mica spray, and make the card shine.

The stencils allow for an easy mailer, no extra stamps.
Are your cards all mailed? Stencils are quick and easy, and so much fun!

Tags for Friends

Well, we had no internet yesterday, and I wasn't able to post the series of tags
made for our Favorite Things Dinner. So here goes some more of tags included
in the gift box.

Made with The Greetery's Round About Winter Foliage die, cut twice, each dear
friend received these dies ready to dangle on package or bag.

Center sentiment from Tagged Elegance, and the genius Tear Strip set, that allows
you to die cut 4 tags at once. Like I said, genius.

I must have cut this die 100 times, so I assembled 3 colors for another set included
in the gift box.

Red and pink?  Thanks Dawn. Love her bold color combos, and played with several
for my tags.

I attached a festive mini clothespin on each of these tags.

Candy Cane tags are backed by pink glitter card stock, and can be written on
the back of either strip.

A set of red and one of green. And did I mention it's pure genius to do 4 at one?
The stamp is done just as simply, 4 at once.

Well, that's it for today. Hope you're enjoying some tag inspiration.
Come. back tomorrow for more!

Tag #5 Banner Gift Tag Die

Welcome back for Tag 5 of 25 tags made for a friends Christmas exchange.

8 tags with the wonderful new Banner Gift Tag Die from the Greetery.

The tag was stamped with The Greetery's Pine and Berry Background stamp, and die
cut from Crimped Circle Tag Die. Then the layers begin.  White banner, Diagonal red
and white.

More tomorrow! Have a wonderful day!

Tag #4 Santa's Helper

Just had to add Santa's Helper from Tim Holtz to my tags for friends.

Mentioned in my previous posts, made a series of 25 tags for each of 8 friends
who get together every year for a Favorite Friends dinner. One of my favorite
things is of course paper art!

Sweet Santa's Helper is mounted on the new Tim Holtz tag (middle. size), and don't
you just love how his bootie and cap are off the edges?

It was love at first sight when this guy was released.
Hope you're enjoying the tag parade!

Tag 3: All Wrapped Up

December 11th brings Tag #3, and it's a mix of dies from The Greetery's
newest release: All Wrapped Up.

Received in time to create the 8 I needed for our 'Favorite Things' Dinner.

Here we all are, rockstars, from all over the state, and 2 from Utah!
It's an annual event we just don't miss. And this year was a pajama party!

And, as I mentioned before, my 'Favorite things' included handmade paper tags.

The dried orange slices dies were a favorite this year and I 'dried' them with
Ranger oxide ink and Sheer Shimmer Frost Spray.

This one was a big hit with the group, who loved the dried orange slices!

More tomorrow... stay tuned!
and thanks for the visit!

Tag-2 Harvey

Have you met Harvey? He's the tiny soldier new to the Tim Holtz Christmas
release for 2022,  and he's won my heart!

The holidays bring together a group of friends that have met for years to
celebrate a tradition called 'Favorite Things'. There are 8 of us, and we eat,
drink and are merry in December with gifts that are special to us that we
share.

Because my 'Favorite Things' include anything paper, I created a set of 25 holiday
tags for each friend. Harvey was die cut and assembled 8 times in his holiday
best, and stands at attention on a white splattered MFT tag.

He's double tagged for names to and from.

The greenery is from an older Tim Holtz set, and dipped in paste before
sprinkling with snow glitter.

and that's tag 2. If you come back tomorrow, you can see another tag
created for my gal pals.

Happy Christmas time!

Tag-a-licious!

It's Christmas Time! And I'm bringing you some tags I created using The Greetery's
All Wrapped Up release.

Today's post features the orange slices together with The Banner Gift Tag set.

The tag base is an oldie from MFT, wide and long enough to hold the design.
The base circle was die cut from PTI's Americana and so was the sprigs of
Baby's Breath. I formed a kind of wreath onto the base also including leaves
from Big Branches Ruscus.

At this moment my craft room looks like it's hit by a tornado. No judging, it's how I roll.
I created an assembly line of die cuts for this tag, and several others.
Stay tuned for more.
I plan to bring you a new set of tags every day.
Merry Making, and Merry Christmas!

The Flower Challenge #75 Christmas

Merry Christmas! And welcome to The Flower Challenge. The final challenge of
the year is: Christmas!

Looking through my stash of Christmas flowers sets, I came upon Concord & 9th's
Christmas Florals Stamp Set.

It's a beauty I haven't used in awhile, and I thought I'd have some fun stamping it on
some red cardstock and coloring with metallic watercolors.

Lots of bling on this card. Black mica glitter, shimmer cardstock (PTI), and red
Wink of Stella.

Finally, even added some diamond Stickles to the black outline.
Don't know about you, but it's time to shine. Bring on the lights and
shine some love! It's what we're here for, you know. Bright Holiday
Blessings to you. and yours. Hope you find some time to play along. I'd love
to see how Christmas translates onto your card.

The Card Concept: Christmas Greetings

Welcome! It's officially Christmas Time! And the Card Concept has a new challenge
for you,

Christmas Greetings!
...this merry front door, complete with Christmas colors! Lots of inspiration here.

I was inspired by the colors, the red door, and one of my favorite symbols of the
season, a wreath.

All my die cuts are from The Greetery's new release for November, and I'm so
thankful for every one!

The Card Concept: Christmas Trees

Hi and Merry Christmas! The Card Concept has a new challenge for you, and once
again with the brilliant idea of giving you the choice:

Lovely and warm fall themed card or

Cool, contemporary colors for a holiday card.

My inspiration for you comes from a card I saw Norine Boyes do, with a tree from
Spellbinders.

She placed droplets of reinker onto a stamping block, sprayed the block, and created
her own paper. After die cutting the image or tree, she added paste to simulate snow.
The process was a blast! and I love the result of the greens blended with spaces. of
white.

Hope you're inspired today, and choose one of our inspiration photos for your card.
Have a wonder week!
