The Card Concept Spring Bouquet

Hi and welcome to a new challenge at The Card Concept: Spring Bouquet

I love the  colors with this photo, and used them for my Clean and Layered card.

Starting with the Greetery stamped background in Ranger's Oxide grey ink,
I die  cut the Poppystamps trellis )thought it looked lacy over it, and then
the tulips  from the greetery (also inked)

The die cut 'birthday' is also from the Greetery, as is the silver embossed
wishing you...

Our challenges are for 2 weeks, and hope you're inspired to play along!

The Flower Challenge 2 Reminder#79 Focus on Background Stamping

Hi and welcome to the Flower Challenge Reminder: Background Stamping.
It's all about showing those flowers off, against a stamped background.

It's Your Day, is a birthday card with a sweet hummingbird, against a stamped lattice

Behind a bouquet from C9 called Eclectic Garden Dies, is
from it's matching Eclectic Garden Stamp set.
The Greetery arches die and Seed Catalogue Background Stamp are the finishing
touches, along with some rhinestones from Poppystamps.

You still have a couple of weeks to play, hope to see your creations, and how
you add background stamping to your cards.
Have a great weekend!

The Card Concept New Arrival or Busy Bee

Well Hello friends!
We have a new challenge at the Card Concept: New Arrival or Busy Bee.
Guess what I chose?

Just had to play with The Greetery's Honey Bee dies for this one!

Mostly inked the bees, but added some white pen, and vellum for wings.
If you look closely, I colored some glossy accents and dipped the honey
stick into it.

I was definitely inspired by the bee images on the inspiration photo

I also used the colors, and honey vibe for my vintage and Layered card.

Honey Bee die, Honey Jar stamps and dies, Lovely Silhouettes, Seed

Catalogue Background stamp, Buzz Worthy Sentiments Stamp set

Concord and 9th

Poppystamps Post: Junk Journal

Hello, Poppy Peeps! I'm up on the Poppystamps blog today with a Junk Journal, created
with a new die set. It's such a fun project and I've got pictures to show you here of
every page. Hope your drinks and snacks are handy, it's a long post!

The die set has everything you need to make a basic pocket sized journal. You make
it your own with die cuts, twine, tapes and stickers. I even added a flower paper clip.
I themed my little journal to take you on an Easter egg hunt. Come along and count
the eggs. 2 on the front...

The main die gives you a book shape with a label. I cut 4 of these, turning two around
so the label is below the top one.
Page 1, is a pocket with a fuzzy bunny. Within the pocket is a page with a chick.
Opposite page is an egg clipped onto a contrasting design.

The sweet little chick is a sticker, as is the rainbow over his head.

Pages 3 and 4.

I added an arrow to the little butterfly pull out. always nice to give instructions!

Pages 5 & 6. The page corners are included in the set.

Pages 7 & 8 are a favorite... I used some Easter stickers from my stash
on the pockets. (Pocket dies are also included in the set).

tiny treats revealed!

9 & 10, and I added Washi tape to the pocket of page 9

The bunny ears pull tab is the top of a butterfly die.

A bunny in an envelope on page 12, and a bunny in a plaid pocket with washi eggs
on 13.

Page 14 is a pocket with another pull tab...

...revealing 3 floral eggs.
the last page has 2 tulip die corners for a photo.
Egg total? I'll never tell!

I sewed my my journal with twine. and made a tassel.

Honestly, a 10 on the cute scale! And sharing a secret, it was my first
junk journal. Takes some time, but when your creative juices start flowing,
it's a blast!

Still with me? Want to give this a try?
Head on over to the Poppystamps blog. I've listed all product I
used for my Easter egg hunt junk journal at the bottom of my post.

Happy Easter!

Rejoice For He Has Risen

Hello and welcome. I am sharing a card with you done with some new stamps
and dies from The Greetery's new release.

The basic nest die was cut from white and inked with several oxide inks.
I added the tiny flowers and some leaves. from The Baby Face Orange set.

The nest is backed with brown for depth, and placed on top of Big Branches
Ruscus,  also inked. All placed on the Patchwork die, stamped with Spring
Meadow Background.

Rejoice stamp onto a Tear Strip Tag.

Closeup of the nest and eggs.  A symbol of new beginnings!

Happy Easter my friends!
