every detail for her sets, even a sweet little tag with sentiments!

Summer's in full swing and We have a delightful challenge for you at 

The Flower Challenge.

Who couldn't use a few extra birthday cards in their stash?

My sample  card features several Sizzix Tim Holtz dies.

I love creating with dies! Fast simple stunning images that pop off a card!

The background die is called Layered Dots. I  sponged on some shading on 

top and bottom  before adding my Wildflowers #1 and 3.

A  bit of watercolor pencil shading and done! 

Birthday is an old PTI script die.

Happy is from The Greetery's Birthday Blooms.

I've used Penny Black's gorgeous rose die before, and you just can't go wrong!

This time cut from a magicals cardstock I had on hand. I did add some copics

to accentuate shading, otherwise all Magical powder  come to  life with some

spritzing.

I can't believe June's half way gone!

As we're approaching summer, I chose hibiscus as my theme flower.

Haven't used my metallics in a while, and love their bright shiny color on

Hello March! For this month, the Flower Challenge wants you to create

a square card.

We leave winter for a peek at summer with the Hibiscus flower from The Greetery.

With the basket weave stencil in the  background, I inked die cuts and added a

birthday greeting.

Add a Heart

Altenew's Fairy Tale set is the floral used for my card. My heart dots the 'I" in 

beautiful.

The color was applied with stencils, and deepened with Prima pencils.

Toaster Valentines

I have always had a thing for all things vintage, and loved The Greetery for 

spotlighting the sweetness of aged goodies. Their toaster die has just the  

right 'kitchy' vibe for a couple of valentines.

Using mirror cardstock, the aqua toaster is 'poppin' with love!

To make the heart background, I created a stencil using Greetery's Falling Hearts

 background die. 

I used the reversed dies for the 2nd toaster card, this time my toaster's hot pink, still

popping with love.

The sentiments are a combo of Tear Strip Tags Valentine,  and Hearts at Home

Sentiments.

So much fun to create, they're off to a couple of special grands!

It's the month of hearts!

Welcome dear crafters. The Flower Challenge celebrates all things love

for the month of February. 

'Add a Heart' is your challenge. 

I went with a Valentine theme, and began with The Greetery's Falling Hearts bg die,

and filled Heart Leaf Posey Pocket with Wildflowers.

I've had  a love affair with Loopy Bow ever since the Greetery released it.

Signed and Sealed  heart with sentiment over bow.

Good morning!

Finally  had a chance to get inky with The Greetery's newest, Love Letters PS.

Celebrating Christina Marie's birthday today, with Flourished Phrases Love.

A Journalism graduate, Christina has a gift for choosing and putting together

words and phrases. Just had to throw in the pen!
