The Flower Challenge July: Be Inspired By the Colours in the Photo
Hi there flower fans!
A new challenge for us at The Flower Challenge for the month of July,
'Be Inspired by the Colors in the Photo'
Oh the inspiration! Couldn't wait to use Tim Holtz' Brushstroke Flowers.
My bg is a smooshing technique with Ripe Persimmon and Salvaged Patina Oxide Inks.
The script sentiment is from SSS, (Happily Ever After) first cut from copper card
stock, then backed with Stormy Sea (PTI).
We recently attended 3 weddings, my stash for newlyweds is depleted.
This will come in handy!
Play along through the 25th of July, We love seeing your creative cards!

The Flower Challenge Reminder: Add Embossing
It's reminder time at The Flower Challenge, and our challenge for the
month of June is embossing, heat or dry.
I used both on my card, using several dies that embossed the image, andwet embossed the sentiment.
A special card for a very special gal! My D-I-L is truly a remarkable teacher.
She teaches in a high a high school and is a professor at our local university.
I used some of new Jubilee stamps and dies from The Greetery. The background
die from Honeybee.
Play along through the 25th!
The Flower Challenge #103 - Add Embossing (Heat or Dry)
It's June! and lots of time for crating.
The Flower Challenge is all about June this challenge and we're
asking you to use embossing.
My featured flower is a showstopper from Altenew, called Fairy Tale Florals.
Part of the set is an embossing folder that I had such fun inking after I
embossed the image.
I inked my dauber with Picket Fence Distress Ink, and then gently went over
certain spots with Tumbled Glass Oxide. It really lifted the color up!
Then with a white gel pen, I hi-lighted the center stamens.
Just a Note is from The Greetery. It's called, Scripted Sentiments.
Love the way it fits the graceful florals!
Our challenge is through the 25th!

The Flower Challenge Reminder: Use Spring Colours
Spring brings heavenly color to the world. And the Flower Challenge is
all about it!
The month of April we are asking for Spring colors. Use them to create
a card.
I chose the Greetery's Botanicuts: Crocus for my Pocket Posey Wrap, and added
Botanicuts: Lilac as a filler. I kept the lilacs pale so my Crocus would take
center stage.
The Penir family is looking forward to Easter and all it's fun family activities,
including an Easter egg hunt!
Hope to see your creations in our lineup. Our challenge closes on the 25th.
Happy Easter!

The Flower Challenge #99 February 2025 Feature the Colour Pink
Well hello there, and welcome back to the Flower Challenge.
This month we're featuring the color pink.
The Sweet Pea die from Spellbinders caught my eye for this month's challenge.
Haven't used this 3-D die in a while.
Once the pieces are cut, they're 'formed' with a tool onto foam to produce
the curl. Such a fun card to create.
