MIM #168 & NBUS #1


Melissa Phillips shares some technique fun using chalks, stamps and Impression plates.
I love what happens to a surface when chalk is applied to an
impressed design. 
More layering texture when stamped design enters the picture.

This is my 3rd post.
Yes I love layering,
yes I love learning from creative masters like Melissa, 
and yes, I love this particular technique!


Once again, with Betsy's impression plate,
this time with blues and greens,
and finally  
a NBUS (never before used schuftt, thank you Darnell) stamp 
from Life Is Beautiful.
Perfect Pearls were added to the butterfly die cuts.
Just haven't gotten around to using this breathtaking set until now!
Perfect timing, because it's also going in Darnell's 1st ever challenge!

Not sure who's getting a card with 'Beautiful' as a sentiment, 
so I'll add it to a growing stash of ready to send cards!

  4. Oh my goodness Nancy! This card is just gorgeous! I like the way you kept the stamping to a minimum so the chalking could show through. And those perfect pearled butterflies- just stunning!
