MIM #173

Happy Monday! This monday Heather creates the most beautiful watercolor
on this week's Make It Monday, on
Nichole Heady's blog.
She does it by first stamping the image with a pale ink, such as
Softstone, the color I used for my image.
The image stamped looks like a pencil drawing, and looks like I sketched it.
Brilliant!

The image is from Year of the Flowers: Violets, but I made it a pansy!

All PTI products:
Ink refils: Lemon Zest, Harvest Gold, Lavender Mist,
Plum Pudding, Winter Wisteria & True Black
Cardstocks: Plum Pudding, PP Gingham, Royal Velvet
Stamps: Year of the Flowers Violet, Sentiment from Birds & Blooms
I paper pieced the center of the violet.

  3. I was taking a quick scan through the entries for the MIM challenge and your totally caught my eye so I had to come on over and take a look. Pansies are my favorite flower and the first thought I had when they released this set was that it could be a pansy. Love what you did with it; your watercoloring is stunning.
