You're a Peach!

Playing along with PTI's challenge,
and Betsy Veldman's 'Cool Condensation Effects'.

It's summer fruit season here in the Central Valley,
and peaches are a favorite!
Found the peach image from Scent-imentals, and rock n rolled on inks until I liked
the results.
Betsy showed us how to put droplets of water on our images with Glossy Accents.
Looks like the dew of the morning!

A quick edit to show you some Valley peaches

Fresh picked and ready for cobbler!

Also, watched our grandsons last night, and the 3 year old
helped decorate grandma's card when I wasn't looking!

Saving this one to show him when he's 20!
It's all good, maybe he'll grow up to be cardmaker!

  15. I'm so glad I popped in to see your card a second time, as I loved being able to see your Grandson's artistic rendition on the back of your card! Ha! And I wish I could have a slice of that peach cobbler, too. ANYWAY, I wanted to say that I love your dewy peach! Great idea to use that stamp set, and very clever to use it as a centrepiece for your quilt block!

  16. Love that he did it on the back and that it looks like an "Oh!", look what I've done to grandma's card. So cute. Your card is stunning, Nancy, with perfect "sweat" on it. Yes, I'm calling it sweat from now on.

Love the colors you used on your background quilt too...the combination of both really does make me think peach cobbler! And love your grandson's artistic addition to your card...how sweet! :0) Can't wait till Addy can "help" me with my cards too!! :0)
