Hello! And welcome to 12 Kits of Occasions, on the last day of May!
Birgit Norton is our hostess this month, and I have to say, she hit every
homemaking button I have with her wonderful kit,
Happiness Is Homemade.
Birgit dedicated it to her mom, and it's easy to see
where she picked up all her talent!
Let's get right to the cards, there's so much to see!
The apron for this card came completely assembled.
Copics and ink for the rest of the kitchen goodies. Nuvo drops for cupcake.
2 darling aprons came in this kit. I added the poms and PTI's frame.
Adore this sweet scene, and loved watercoloring it.
Double tag:Poppystamps Pinpoint Main Street Tags
All these rich yummy coordinated papers and fruits just went together!
Just thought the sweet PTI strawberry cake went great with
the chalkboard paper.
The trim and twine were included in the kit.
Cooking, baking, gardening and sewing all in one kit!
Birgit included these PTI tulips in cherry yellow and orange
My last card is a watercolor 'Thanks' to Birgit.
You really hit this one out of the park with your attention to detail.
And, I have so much left over! Enough for another 8 cards!
Don't forget to visit the other 12 Kits designers, and leave love along
the way for a chance to win a future kit!
Wow! Wow! And WOW!! I'm picking my jaw up off the floor after seeing all these amazing cards of yours Nancy! First I'll start with the fun retro vibe your cards seem to have that really speak to my vintage loving heart. <3 I don't know how you can keep creating beauty after beauty with each card. I wanna come play at your house so you can teach me a thing or two... or three... You did such a fabulous job water coloring that sweet Stampingbella image and I just love the double tag layout. The cake card has got to be my favorite but it's truly hard to choose. I'd really have to choose them all! It's been so fun seeing how everyone used my first kit in ways I would never have dreamed. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this amazing group. My cup and my heart overfloweth. <3
ReplyDeleteCan I come to your house with Birgit to play too? Oh my goodness Nancy, your cards are all FABULOUS!! I loved all the extra shading you did with the die cuts on your first card...such a simple thing that adds so much depth to that lovely card! And your cake card...oh do I LOVE that cake card!! You really knocked this challenge right out of the park my friend...loved every card!! :0)

Nancy, our tulip cards are almost identical!!! Ha, how fun is that?! I knew you would create the most wonderful things with this kit. Your sunflowers are beautiful, I definitely want to CASE your cake card, and I'm so excited to use your coloring as inspiration. I loved the little girl, but was nervous about coloring her. You did such an amazing job!
ReplyDeleteIm back ,I was up early and couldn't find the post, maybe it was way too early:) Anyway I love every single card you made Nancy! I am loving that red and white framed card what a fun idea ! That sunflower tag over the woodgrain is gorgeous and makes me think of fall ( already can't wait for fall) I am fine skipping... summer :)
ReplyDeleteJust as I expected: layered, colored, and perfectly placed embellishments abound 'round here ALWAYS!!! I just now realized that Birgit gave us different flowers to color! ReplyDeleteAB-SO-LUTELY amazing! Your layering and coloring are so wonderful. The sunflower with the woodgrain is fabulous and I'm loving that tag die cut you been using. It's equally effective with the adorable little girl, which is so perfectly colored. Good thing we don't have to pick favorites since it would be impossible here. LOVE them all!!
