12 Kits of Occasions July '19 Summer Fun

The end of July and time for 12 Kits of Occasions. This month our hostess is Marybeth
Lopez, from Marybeth's Time for Paper. And she sent us a kit full of summer's best!

Let's get right to it!

Lots of fun colorful papers from Echo Park. I fussy cut the word 'COOL' and used
my new frame dies from the Greetery. You'll see a lot more of them throughout my

Nothing says summer like big bright blooms. These are Concord & 9th.

Marybeth sent a pale ink stamped image from Altenew, just perfect for
the soft look of watercolor pencils.

We got 2 'hello' die cuts from Poppystamps. I popped up this green one onto a weave of the
pretty EchoPark papers. The black dotty paper is actually Altenew's Washi tape on a piece
 of PTI's Berry Sorbet cardstock.

This one started out with the best intentions. I thought it would be fun to dress up the
top popsicle to look like it was melting. Glossy Accents would do the trick...
didn't exactly work the way I'd hoped. Oh well...

This final card is a thank you to Marybeth for a kit full of summer fun!

Enjoy all the posts from the 12 Kits' friends, and enjoy your summer!
Hope it's full of crafty goodness!

  1. Six absolutely BEAUTIFUL and Summery cards Nancy!! Loving all the frames with the new Greetery dies too...need to get mine out and play! LOVE all your cards, but I think my favorite is the Altenew card you did with the water color pencils...SOOOO PRETTY Nancy!! Hugs. :0)

  2. I am in love with your designs, Nancy! You frame everything beautifully! You also add in such fabulous details like the sprinkle of gems on the snow cones and the drippy GA on the popsicle (even if it didn't cooperate the way it should). Oh my though, Nancy, that watercolor Altenew flower card just takes my breath away!

  3. Fabulous array of cards, all so lovely and summery!!

  10. Beautiful cards and lots of clever things that have me looking twice.. the plaid from paper strips, and the snowcones sprinkled with jewels ! The melting popsicle and the pretty shaker.. so much detail put into each and every masterpiece! You inspire me!

  11. No surprise that I would fall in love with what you did with Marybeth's fabulous kit! I love all the things you added to your cards--the details on the popsicles and the snow cones, the watercoloured flowers, your paper layering and the dies from Betsy that I think I just have to have now! Beautiful collection!

  12. Oh my Nancy, where do I begin?? You totally rocked Marybeth's kit this month. The sequins on the snow cones are so fun and the glossy accents on the popsicle looks fabulous! I think you hit the mark with that idea. Your watercolored background with the Altenew flowers is stunning and I'm glad I still have mine so I can give it a try. I love how you weaved strips of the gorgeous papers together. What a delightful way to showcase them all. All your cards are fabulous as always! Thanks for the inspiration to use up my leftovers.
