12 Kits of Occasions: March 2019 - A Whimsical Garden

A great big 'howdy' to you all! The last day of March brings the
12 Kits of Occasions. And our hostess Lisa Elton from mypapertales.blogspot.com,
is spreading Spring our way with 'A Whimsical Garden'.

Beautiful papers from Cartabella, darling die cuts and sentiments, stamped sweet Spring
images, and the most gorgeous rose gold sequins ever! Be still my blossom lovin' heart!
Well just take a look...

This guy is loving the rain, and the hope of Spring blooms so much, I had to lead with
him. Life in my valley is beautiful right now. We've had loads of life giving rain, and I
thank God for every drop!

Lisa included this phrase, which I added to the inside of froggie's card.
Really... it says it all!

Next up, one of 3 Impression Obsession bunnies included in the kit, popped up on
a field of flowers.
PTI: Shape Shifters Oval 3 & Cover Plate Marquee.

Lisa wrapped our goodies in this green and white chevron paper. Wish you could
feel it, so rich and smooth. Perfect for 2 bunny friends enjoying the outdoors.
Corners cut from PTI's Mix and Mat Herringbone and some of Lisa's dp from the kit.

These 2 friends are mounted on Stamplorations: Luggage tags

Lisa stamped these 2 in soft brown ink for us. I used my Polychromos pencils to color them.

I'm a bit over the moon for this Art Gone Wild 'puttering around bunny'. Lisa sent us the
mini bow too. Seemed a good place to put it, over the medallion, on the wreath.
Colored with copics.

I also colored the trio of bloom die cuts with copics, and framed the card in black.
Poppystamps: Stitchwork Rectangle Frames.

Thank you, thank you, Lisa for a fabulous Spring-a-licous kit!
Can't wait to peruse my 'kit sisters' blogs to see how they used their goodies!

Lisa is giving away a couple of mini kits on her blog. Be sure to visit her blog
for details.

Happy Spring! Hope it's beginning to look like Spring where you are!

12 Kits of Occasions July Summer and More

Hi, and welcome to the July post for 12 Kits of Occasions!
Our hostess this month is Marybeth Lopez from Marybeth's Time for Paper.
She sent us a wonderful kit full of summer goodies! And a bit of
vacation too!

Settle back, grab a cuppa, and enjoy a bit of summer fun!

First off, Best Wishes and Fuchsias. Do you grow them? The day we hit 100, it's only
a matter of time until my fuchsias say good-bye! Folks we in the Central Valley
broke a record for 100+ 21 days in a row... no happy fushsias here!

I tore the paper card with flip flops and added the palm tree and surfboard to
a PTI die cut I had on hand. (Do you save your extra die cuts? Think I need another
room to hold all of mine!) Marybeth included the darling tiki paper.

Tucked this little guy into the embossed wreath Marybeth had in our kit.
Popped up outer paper and added the tag cut from one of the sentiments included.

These bunnies from Purple Onion just might be my favorites. Added them to the
Poppy die cut.

Once again, with a ready made PTI die cut, the lemon lime duo goes with
one of my favorite PTI sentiments.

All these summery cards came together so quickly.
Easy breezy and fun!

Be sure to stop by and give some commenting love to each of the
designers. Can't wait to see what they all did with July's kit!

Thank you, Marybeth!

12 Kits of Occasions: May '18 You're a Good Egg

Hello everyone! Welcome to the last day of May, and 12 Kits of Occasions, where you
are treated to 12 designer friends and their creations!
This month I'm hostess, and my kit is themed 'You're a Good Egg'.
My husband and I live on 2 1/2 acres and raise chickens for their eggs.
By day they roam the homestead, and at night are snugly tucked into their coop.
To say they've won our hearts is an understatement! We affectionately call them 'the girls',
and have to say, we smile each time we crack open an egg!
And with that in mind, may I present this month's kit... full of chickens and eggs and
hopefully a few 'cluckles'!
You'll see lots of Lawn Fawn this month, especially their set, 'Hay There', and some of
their wonderful papers.
I've invited 2 friends this month, Colleen Foelker, and Linda Snodgrass.
Be sure to drop by and give 'em some love!
So get comfy, put your feet up, grab a cuppa, and enjoy. There's a whole lot of
crafty country to see!
Remember, all products are listed on the 12 Kits' products page.
And one more note: I'm an affiliate for PapertreyInk. All their products I used are
hi-lighted and are a direct link to their shop. If you like something I used, I'd love it
if you use my link up. Thanks!

It's all about farm life with my box card made with Lawn Fawn's sweet images!

The scene was made using Lawn Fawn's Scallop Pop Up Box Card die set.

Included in the kit was Lawn Fawn's Simple Grassy Hillsides...
can't wait to see how my teammates used it!

Adore these sweet Lawn Fawn ducklings!

These 'farm fresh' images from Carta Bella are mounted around

Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow paper. I had the stitched square and rectangles left over from
the pop up box. Skillet & egg carton: Cottage Cutz.

I saw these chicks from Stampin' Up on Pinterest and had to add them to my stash. You can
still get them on eBay, but be forewarned... they're pricey. See the one with the funky hair?
That's chick attitude. LOVE it! Oh, and btw, Those are real feathers off my girls, discarted
not plucked. The grandkids love to collect them from the coop.

Chicken Wire, hen & egg also Stampin' Up.

Last card is some ombre inking over a Cottage Cutz die set.

Hope you enjoyed a bit of card making country style, and hope you
visit the 12 Kits designers for more fun on the farm!

Hugs, y'all!

12 Kits of Occasions October '17: Boo to You!

Happy Halloween Greetings! It's the day before the spooking begins, and
12 Kits of Occasions is bringing you October's post today.
This month I'm the hostess, and I had such a good time putting together a not too frightful
kit for all my teammies.

Thanks to Lindsey, our resident genius when it comes to photographing a bit of
everything included in the kit. Mwah!

No time to waste, hope your cuppa is handy, I have a ton to show you!

Let's start with some brew from Frantic Stamper to kick things off.
By the way, if anything catches your eye, there's a list of products used in the kit
on the 12 Kits blog.

It truly is 'All About the Candy'

Not too long ago Marybeth used this boxcard die from Reverse Confetti on one of her projects.
Had to have it, and loved adding some of the designer papers to decorate it. The haunted town
die cut was included in the kit.

Funny story, my teenage granddaughter is afraid of spiders, which always seem to show up in our
house when she's visiting. Guess who got this card for Halloween? 'Grandma, you're so mean!'

You have to have a shaker in the lineup. The die's from Memory Box.

Kept this card simple to showcase this trio from Impression Obsession.

Does anyone really eat candy corn? But it's like the symbol of Halloween!

I think I used this stamp and die set from Poppystamps more than any other this season.
They are just so darn cute!

Still with me? My last (I promise!) card uses puff paint (Tsukineko Neon Amplify)
to give my pumpkins some dimension.
And that's it for this hostess. Hope you enjoyed it. And hope you visit each and every
teammie and leave some love on their blogs.
I have a prize to give one winner of our drawing, so don't forget to comment!

Hugs, and Happy Halloween!
