Tag You're It: Reminder

Hi friends! I just love making tags, don't you?

I have a reminder tag for the current Tag You're It Challenge.

I started with the PPP Decorative Tag 2, and backed it with the Stamp Market's
Floral Background. No sentiment yet. Definitely going on a feminine gift for
someone special.

When the doors are open you see more of the floral bg. The tag is decorated with PTI's
Humming Along.

Are you playing along?
Hope to see your creations in the lineup!
And hope you have an extra crafty week!

He Is Risen

Hi there! I'm playing along with PTI and Laurie's Fabulous Favorites,
where she challenges us to use our favorite style this week.

Creating Layered Lovelies is my favorite thing to do!

For the background I stenciled one of the Modern Background Stencils
with Distress Oxide Inks. Humming Along is the stampset.
I also stamped a few extra leaves around the
petunia on the bottom. Layers and layer illusion. Love it all!
The rest are stamped diecuts. Some are popped up with foam.

The sentiment is from Easter Alleluias, one of my favorites for this
time of year. When placed in the Misti, it's easy to give it an ombre look.

Lastly, I added some diamonds Stickles to the inside of the flowers.

Play along with Laurie on the PTI blog.

Bloom: Create Along With Us June '18

Create Along With Us: PTI's invitation to case their designer's ideas during
release week.
There's no end to special treats, from color combos to little touches of brilliance!

Melissa Phillips' cards caught my eye on the first day out, particularly this pastel bauble:

From her use of pearls and glitter paper to layers and layers of lovliness, I was hooked!
(get it? Hooked? Under the sea? LOL!)
Enough of me 'fishing' for laughs, here's my take on Melissa's sweet card.

A list of what I used is at the end of my post.
I LOVED using Perfect Pearls on my background, for a subtle texture.
(Wish you could see the sheen from the pearls)
And Melissa's idea of the Embossing Enamel was genius! In the air, as well as
under the sea!
Not having the undersea elements (yet!), I used flowers and hummingbird for my
color pop.

SAF '17 6th Anniversary - Iron with Betsy Veldman

The 6th Anniversary Tradition is Iron. Betsy Veldman's video shows how to turn
paper into iron. She's amazing. And so is the look she achieved.
My husband does wrought iron and when saw I this Mix & Mat, it reminded me
of the fence he built in front of our house.

With a few die cuts from Humming Along my card is done.
