The Card Concept: Fresh New Year

Welcome back to the Card Concept, and a Fresh New Year!

Complete with color swatches, our photo inspiration is both elegant and a bit sassy!
Black & White & Pink and a soft gold? What could be better for a fresh new start
to a brand new year!

I didn't stray far from the inspiration photo, keeping the b/w bold stripes, and and the bright
pink forefront on my card. My birthday bouquet is set in a glass vase, cut from polka dot
vellum.

I chose the Rose Flurries 3-D Die from Altenew, and paired it with The Greetery's
Inside Out Berry Branch.

I call my design choice, Clean and Layered, my favorite of all the card designs.
Hope you are inspired to play along, our challenges run for 2 weeks, plenty of time
to add a card or 2 to our lineup! We love seeing how you use the inspiration photo and
design styles.

Blessings for a wonderful, craft filled New Year!

The Card Concept: Summer Fun

Summer Fun is the theme at the Card Concept.

So many nautical element for inspiration!

A whole lot of red white and blue, and lots of sand and sea inspired my Clean and Layered card.

The lantern with sea elements was recreated with PapertreyInk's Cloche Quarters
and Cloche Quarters: Summer. Pierced Oval die cut from striped and dotty paper,
and some real sand for texture.

Just had to add an anchor embossed onto a Kraft tiny tag (Ahoy)

Hope you're inspired to try creating a card full of summer fun!

Happy Crafting!
