Good Monday Morning everyone!
MIM at PTI features Ashley with
Stamping Random Background Patterns
Decided to do some bookmarks for the grandchildren returning to school this month.
The card I will be sending the bookmark in has been stamped, randomly, with dreamy words from
PTI's Embellishments stampset.
Bookmark is stamped with a sentiment from All Booked Up.
Lots of layering with a Mat Stack 4 stamped with the image from All Booked up, with the reading girl stamped on a Limitless layers circles die cut.
PTI buttons, inks and card stocks.
Inside of card.
Left plenty of room on top and bottom of bag for a 'to' and 'love, grandma'.
Will do a bunch of these for my sweethearts,
this one is for 8 year old Analise, starting 3rd grade.

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome card and bookmark, Nancy! Love this as a 'gift' idea for the Grand kids, teachers, Book Club members ~ the list is a long one :)
ReplyDeleteSuper idea using the words as your background. Love the bag holder for your bookmark.
ReplyDeleteNancy, this is fantastic! One of the thoughts that I had when I watched Ashley's video is that it would be really neat to make a background with words, but then I totally forgot about it. I love what you did here...your overlapping almost looks a bit like argyle to me. Such a beautiful color scheme and perfect details.
ReplyDeleteTerrific "back-to-school" Nancy - these are perfect!
ReplyDeleteoops = meant to say "back=to-school" gifts - great take on the MIM challenge!
ReplyDeleteLove every gorgeous detail! Your take on this week's challenge is stunning.
ReplyDeleteSo creative Nancy! Great background idea and wonderful theme.
ReplyDeleteLove the bag for this bookmark, and the script background is genius….. Not to mention beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove this project. What a nice way to encourage your grandchildren to read. I never thought of randomly stamping words--but it's a brilliant idea.
ReplyDeleteThe colors and layout are to die for! This little girl looks like Ana, just like the little boy looks like Nate! I'm so excited for the kids to see them. Everything from the washi tape to the striped ribbon is striking. The pattern play is fantastic.
