2nd Challenge is to use simple household black tea to dye/stain muslin.
I chose Melissa's technique (stained my muslin last night),
and loved her flower, which was a die cut Ruby Rose.
Pretty much did her flower, with the exception of stamping script from Simply Jane in Melon Berry.
Melissa's sweet flower (love!)
and mine.
Muslin flower is on a Boutique accessory die, which is popped up on a couple of PTI papers.
This is a perfect handmade embellie for special gifts, etc., and I can't wait to do more.
Paperclay is next, see you soon!
Success!!! Your flower is beautiful. I love the touch of color on the script stamping and how it ties it in to your background. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job
ReplyDeleteUmmm...who is this for? Because I want it. LOVE the flower. The 3D effect is something only you could achieve. The leathery leaves, the flower's center, and even the jute rope add so much texture, and the lace adds femininity. Of course, then there's the backing of the flower it's laying on...I could go on.
