It's Feb. 25th, and that means Blog Hop at PTI!
The Theme? Sweet Spring!
The weather may not show it, but inside craft rooms we're breaking out the pastels
and signs of renewed life!
Easter will be here before we know. First card is a shaker with the bunny from
Polka Dot Basics #1, and Mini Blooms. There's some glitter that jumped on there too!
Card 2
Yellow and lavender are the first colors that pop up in my yard to signal Spring.
2nd card features a background of Year of the Flowers: Sweet Peas.
Button card is fun to showcase Springy items.
Button Boutique stamp set.
Love to use my stash of trims on cards. Seems to add to the handmade touch.
3rd card is a set I'm giving my daughter.
The lovely sentiment 'Tickled Pink' expresses shared joy at someone's good news.
Similar design, Feather embossed onto Watercolor Wonder,
but next 3 show the feather done in other pastels, and a card with sheer ribbon.
This one a bit more intense in hue.
Next, with the ribbon.
And finally a larger card made for my aunt.
Once again using a watercolor bg, and one of my favorite PTI sets, Cutting Garden.
Love doing matching envelopes for the special people in my life!
A long post, but tried to keep it as short as I could.
Hop along to see all the wonderful Spring creations with PTI products!
holey moley!! what a fantastic set of cards... each one is absolutely amazing in completely different ways! i'm a bit partial to the one with the feather.. just stunning!
ReplyDeleteWow, stunning set- that bunny card couldn't possibly get any more adorable!
ReplyDeleteWow, Nancy you have been so busy. All of your cards are fantastic, but I particularly like the first two. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteNancy each card is worthy if it's own post ...but thanks for making it easy for us to see these beauties all in on place( thanks to Joyce)
ReplyDeleteThese are all absolutely gorgeous! Love the buttons on the button card...darn I had that in my cart and took it out. Love the watercolor feather and the beautiful bow on the first card.
Gorgeous creations! Love the bunny shaker card, feather card, and beautiful flower card! All so very unique and lovely...well done!
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for sharing all this loveliness! Your Cutting Garden card is stunning!
ReplyDeleteThey're all gorgeous but I love the Sweet Peas background. I even have that stamp so now I want to go home from work and play - I hate when work interfers with my need for fun.

ReplyDeleteNancy, I'm convinced you craft at the speed of light. Wonderful cards. I hope this isn't a double post. My other comment seemed to disappear. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Nancy, wowzers! They are all gorgeous, love the feather series, but Cutting Garden is my favourite! I have to pull out that set more often, because you really made it shine here. Love all of them.
ReplyDeleteWOW...I am in love with ALL your cards Nancy! They are all so bright and just beautiful and "Spring-y"! :0)
ReplyDeleteYou have been one busy girl! Totally stumped by your first card. (That's a good thing.) Did you stamp the flowers on to a glittered paper? I love the textured look, but can't make out what the texture is. And did you just add a fat bead of glue around the bunny and then glitter? (Inquiring minds want to know, as the TV ad says.)
ReplyDeleteMy jaw dropped when I saw the sweet pea background. The button card is adorable, but I think I'd like the card just as much if you had put nothing more than the ribbon across it. I really must try to produce a background (or fore ground) as compelling as yours. A little more staring time is in order.
Your feather experiments are wonderful! Congratulations for making all three cards. I'm lazy and slow, so I just wonder how my card would look done in other colors and compositions, but never actually try them.
The Cutting Garden card is gorgeous. (I'd buy a dress with that print and those colors in a heartbeat.) The color mixing on the flowers is sensational, and the green vineyard print for the matting is wonderful. It's just the right touch. Your matching envelope should have an envelope so that nothing mars it in any way.
Thanks for sharing your spring inspirations. I'm ready for seasons to change.
Wow, Nancy. What an amazing bunch of cards--all sing spring to me, and all are drop dead gorgeous. So glad my little trick worked, too.
