MIM #189: Impression Line Water Coloring

Played with some new dies and Erin's MIM video
on Impression Line Water Coloring.

Her lovely bloom was perfection, but I needed a masculine
birthday card, which I always put off making.

I impressed Star Shaker die, and a star that's in the set, and included the confetti star maker.
The center of the star cut out when I ran it through, but I liked it, so I added some
glitter to a piece from Make It Market, Shakers & Sprinkles Pattern Pack.
I actually had Twinkling H2O's, which gave the neatest sheen to the stars.
'Shine' was cut from Sparkle and Shine Words and a glitter paper I found at Michael's.
Sketched Stars cut from shimmer gold.

  1. I don't know why you dread guy cards when you do them SO well! I am so going to CASE you on this card as it is just perfect and I even have my star dies sitting out! (been using them on gift card holders) Love all the shimmer and shine to this card too and also how you used the confetti star shapes...great card Nancy! :0)

  2. Nancy--this is terrific! I was having difficulty with this challenge, as I just can't envision a card done with this technique, but you have done it beautifully!

  3. This is fantastic. Such a bright and happy card. Perfect for a man of any age. So jealous that you have your new dies already...mine will come tomorrow.

  4. Congrats on your Papertrey Ink shout out! This card would be great for anyone! I love the silver and yellow. I hope to give it a try.

  5. Love this, Nancy! After seeing this card I'm really glad that I finally ordered the Sketched Star dies, both versions. You are so inspiring!

  6. Wonderful masculine card, Nancy. It looks like the stars are creating the perfect Birthday celebration!

  7. WOOWOWOWOWOWOW!! AWESOME and SPARKLE it does!! =) I LOVE that Glitter Paper WAY NEAT!! I'm sure in real life it is even more AMAZING!!?? =) I too have fell back in LOVE with my H2O's and have been using them ALOT to color!! THANKS for sharing and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)
