Hi friends! Welcome to 12 Kits' April post. This month's hostess is
Lisa Elton, from My Paper Tales, and what a sweety of a kit she gave us!
'My Little Chickadee' is the theme, with birds and feathers, tweety sentiments,
and lots of gorgeous papers.
Are you settled in with a cuppa? Hope you enjoy my cards!
Lindsey included this stamped stem of flowers on kraft. Couldn't wait to pencil in the color.
PTI stencil dots on Aqua Mist cardstock.
Isn't he adorable? He's titled 'Choirboy', and he's from Past Time Stamps.
One of the most fun we friends have is combining elements in our kit. This Impression Obsession
couple on the clothesline seemed perfectly matched to this sentiment!
PTI's Sunshine rays stencil.
All these elements were included in this month's kit, even those sweet little wood birds.
The twine is Lawn Fawn.
I cut a window in this pattern paper Lisa included, from PTI's Window Works die,
and fussy cut and copic colored the bird on the branch.
And finally this card, with a sentiment from Serendipity.
Hope you enjoyed the post today, I loved working with Lisa's kit,
and have plenty to do several more cards. Just the kind of kit I love!
Thank you Lisa!
Don't forget to visit the other kit designers. Always fun to see what they do with the same kit!

WOW...what a joy and delight every one of your cards is Nancy! I can see why this kit was right up your alley...Lisa did a FABULOUS job with everything she included and I'm so excited to go hopping to see what every one else did. Your first card is so bright and vibrant and so hard to believe you made that all come from just using colored pencils! Absolutely adore the little guy standing on the branch with the birds...SO sweet and beautifully colored too!! I LOVE that feathered paper/card...just too sweet, and your last card is FABULOUS too! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! :0)ReplyDelete
Oh My Goodness...each card is a masterpiece! From your stunning lilacs to all your sweet birds and your coloring is over the top amazing! Your final card is stunning and my favorite, love that you used sheet music paper behind the wonderful world tag! FABulous!ReplyDelete
Wow, wow, WOW!! A stunningly gorgeous group of cards, Nancy!! Love your coloring of the images!ReplyDelete
Each and every one is a little work of art Nancy!! Your lilacs are beautifully colored and those sun rays were a brilliant idea! I LOVE the bird on a branch card with the feather paper. Adding the tiny feathers to the circle die cut is such a sweet touch. Thanks for making my kit shine!ReplyDelete
OK I need to know how you did those lilacs - what pencils you used. I tried to color them with prismacolor and it just got so dark they got lost. I love how you added the white. If you look at mine I actually erased all the coloring and the soft purple is what got left behind. So jealous!ReplyDelete
You have done a fabulous job with this adorable kit!ReplyDelete
so, so pretty! what a wonderful kit this month and you've used it well! I love that last card!ReplyDelete
Wonderful cards Nancy, love especially the white highlighting on your flowers on kraft.ReplyDelete
