Hello, and hope you're enjoying the end of a very hot summer.
I finally had some time to play with The Greetery's latest release, and decided
to start with the Roses Tapestry Stencil Set.
...and couldn't stop! Once the stenciling was done, ran each card through the
Aida Cloth Texture Plate.
Honestly would have played with this set for days,
but knew I had to make a card, so,
After adding some trims and bobbits, ended up with a thank you card.
I sew wanted my tapestry to be the star, but those haughty little red handled
scissors just had to steal the show.
Seriously can't believe the detail on these darlings. In this case, die cut 2 pair, and
red embossed one, before cutting the handles and gluing them to the silver pair.
Also red embossed the the brad.
I had almost as fun photographing the card with little sewing notions!
I did one panel on brown cardstock, first laying down a heavy coat of white
(distress oxide Picket Fence), then adding layers of color.
Stay tuned for this one...
Those new goodies from The Greetery are in good hands! This is beautiful, Nancy. I can't wait to see what you do with the other panels!
ReplyDeleteOh my word, these stenciled panels are lovely! Love how the one came out using the brown cardstock. What a beautiful card you've made using the panel done in pinks. Swoon..... I agree, the little sewing notions are all adorable!
