The Flower Challenge 2 Reminder Add Sparkle

Welcome back to a reminder for The Flower Challenge: Add Sparkle
'Tis the season for all things glitz,  and our cards sparkle and shine a bit more
during  this magical season!

I used the same Sizzix poinsettia die as on my last card, just used  the  reverse
die cuts.

This card will need it's own specially made envelope, as the greenery climbs
up over the boundaries!

Play along until the 25th.
Hope to see your sparklies in the lineup!

The Flower Challenge 2 Add a Stencil

It's  reminder time, folks and The Flower Challenge asks for the use of
a stencil for the month of  October.
October! Can you believe it?

I've used a Greetery stamp and stencil, Sketched Wildflower Bouquet,
and die cut it over my framed image.
The beautiful flower bouquet has a stencil set and die to use
with the stampset.
Background is The Greetery's Floral Arches.

Hope you add your stenciled beauty to our lineup!
Remember the challenge ends on the 25th.

I added a little onyx glitter to the flowers.
Always fun to see your creations!

The Flower Challenge September: Include a Stamped Flower

Hello September!
We're celebrating stamping  at  The Flower Challenge this month, and you're
invited to use a stamped flower on your card.

I love this shuttered window die, and it's interactive opening. My window
opens to an all  over floral image (the Greetery)

I added stamped Morning Glories (The Greetery), and deepened parts of  the stamping
with  colored pencils.

Finally, the blessings sentiment.  (The Greetery)

Hope  your challenges this month include The  Flower Challenge!

The Flower Challenge Reminder #94 - Be Inspired by the Colors

Hi and welcome to a reminder that there's a flower challenge going  on!

Lots of  ideas for making a card using our colors. You must use at least
3 of the colors, and flowers must be your main theme.

I chose The Greetery's Sunflowers and added an autumn sentiment.

Let's see  what you come up with. Challenge ends on the 25th.
See you in the lineup

Eden's blanket

Hello there, and welcome to a post I don't normally share.
Our first granddaughter is having our first great granddaughter in October.
Beyond thrilled, I crocheted a baby blanket for her.

I found this pattern online and will share the link at the end of the post.
Taylor, our granddaughter is into all things soft, and this baby soft yarn is
soft and cuddly!
I love how it turned out, and love that our sweet little baby girl will be
wrapped in it.

I was so happy to see a baby card Betsy Veldman made recently using her little one
nestled in the wire basket. Just had to 'borrow'  her creative genius.
As you can imagine we're eagerly awaiting news for the arrival of Baby Eden.

Greetings August, hello and welcome to this month's Flower Challenge.

We're celebrating color this month, and invite you to create a card
with these beautiful pastels. Just be sure to make flowers the main
star on your card.

my inspiration card features The Greetery's geraniums and pot, with a birthday
greeting. The beautiful new Argyle ef from Spellbinders is the back drop
to my florals.

I add4d white accents to the petals with a gel pen. (Kinda wish I hadn't), and finished
with Poppystamps gems.

The Flower Challenge - July 2024 Make a Birthday Card

Welcome July!
Summer's in full swing and We have a delightful challenge for you at
The Flower Challenge.

Who couldn't use a few extra birthday cards in their stash?
My sample  card features several Sizzix Tim Holtz dies.

I love creating with dies! Fast simple stunning images that pop off a card!

The background die is called Layered Dots. I  sponged on some shading on
top and bottom  before adding my Wildflowers #1 and 3.
A  bit of watercolor pencil shading and done!
Birthday is an old PTI script die.
Happy is from The Greetery's Birthday Blooms.

Have at it and play along! We celebrate a month long challenge
until the 25th. Summer's a great time to add to your stash!
