Color Hues: the Color Challenge Pink and Red

Well, hello and I'm back again with a new card for The Color Hues Card Challenge, this
time the colors are Pink and Red. Perfect for a Valentine card!

The Greetery's order came so quickly, I dived right in and chose the Heart Arrow
Foiling and die cut.

For the background I used the Ribbon Maker Heart Strip Die and glued. several strips
of shimmer pink cardstock onto a shade darker pink. Then I cut it again from red to
retrieve the heart centers and glued them within each heart.

I was so happy to be chosen as one of the runners up for the last challenge, and
I used one of the same dies (Loopy Bow) on this card as I did on the last one.
It's such a happy bow! Hot Stuff Sentiments die was first red embossed, and
then pink glittered.

Valentines are happy cards we give to those special ones in our lives. Love the
bright kitchy feel of combining red and pink.

Have a great week!

Happy Valentines Duo

Hello, and Happy February, the month for all things LOVE!

Before my hubs and I left for a vacation/visit of our oldest daughter, I ordered The Greetery's
newest release, featuring all things Valentine, called, 'Confections.' Betsy also included a new
Botanicuts... Strawberries.

I finally got to play with my new order, and created a couple of valentine cards.

The dies have it with these 2 cards. So much fun to assemble, and layer!

With the look of a box of chocolates, and a few dipped strawberries, it's all sweets and
treats for the recipient of these cards.

The new sentiments dies are Happy on steroids! All different fonts which I doubled die-ed.

Hope you're doing well. I know it's been a rough couple of months starting this new
year. 3 of my grands and their mom and dad all had covid right after Christmas.
Thank God, all came through, and all's well now.

Take good care!

Be Mine, Valentine

The season of love is fast approaching, and the images of hearts and flowers are
everywhere. The Greetery's latest release: The Nature Lover Collection has the
sweetest stamps and dies, and I was fortunate to get my order in before they sold
out of the Complete Collection. Honestly, Betsy must have stamping elves getting
orders out, because my order came before it's delivery date! And I've been
playing with it ever since!

I die cut 5 of the Heart Leaf Jumbo Posy Pocket Dies, (watched Betsy's video on
You Tube), and created Valentines.

I stamped a bunch of the flowers from Lovely Blossoms in pink and red, and pretty
much put the 5 Valentines together assembly line style.

Did 5 envelopes to match the posy pockets. They're so easy to do while everything's
out and handy!

I added the twine tie, like Betsy did in her video, and love that it looks like a gift
for the recipient.

A perfect day here. Wet and rainy... perfect for staying indoors and crafting!

Candy Valentine Vans

Hi and welcome to my happy hippie van valentines!

I made a bunch of these for the youngest of my grands. Just a way to say
Gma loves you!

The die for the van is the Greetery's Happy Hippie Van, and the heart border is an
old PTI set called Confetti Heart Border.

All the vans open on the back end to reveal a candy package.

The package folds easily to fit in the back.

They also each get a Target gift card tied to their candy vans.

The banners are created using the Greetery's Signed & Sealed with a Kiss (heart)
and Halvsies Diamond Die.

The older grands get cards and money. I try to please all!

Happy Valentines!
