WCM Day! 2021

Did someone say, 'World Cardmaking Day?' Like I need an excuse to make a card!

Well, I actually HAD to make this one...

Grand Analise got passed her driver's test yesterday, and is official to drive!

It's a Top Down Day for Ana with the Greetery's sweet stamp and die set!

Hard to see it, but GA'd the balloons.

Love you Ana!

Card Concept Challenge: Wee One

Hi there! It's time for a new challenge at the Card Concept, and we celebrating with

this photo inspiration:

!

The colors against purest white was the first thing that hit me, and then followed

by 'it's a baby's room! I haven't done a baby card in awhile so I was looking forward

to creating a card with a celebration baby theme.

For my Clean and Layered, I used the Greetery's Postage Stamp die, and cut it

from PTI's Hawaiian Shores cardstock. To celebrate baby, I chose the balloons

from the Greetery's Balloon Bouquet, and used the colors in the photo.

baby fox is a Flora & Fauna image from their Bohemian Forest Animals

collection. While there's no fox in the inspiration photo, there are 2 stylized

owl pictures, and my little foxy came closest to the style of those owls.

Now it's your turn. What inspires you?

Play along  and don't forget to mention a style (use ours or make one up of your own),

and don't forget to post our inspiration photo on your blog.

Happy stamping! (or die cutting, painting, copic coloring... well you get the idea!)

Balloon Bouquet

Finally got to play with the new Balloon Bouquet from the Greetery.

Fortunately it was restocked and after ordering it and a few other stamps and dies,

delivery was quick!

Lots to love about the stamps that create the bright balloon!

Do you have a favorite? Not telling mine, but Betsy's color combo with the pink and

gray is sweet for a baby card!

Have a great day!

Laurie's Fabulous Favorites: Tags

Well it seems each week a Laurie chooses a favorite, I find myself saying,

'that's my favorite too!'

This week it's tags. I LOVE making tags. Special ones for special gifts

that are going to special people.

These fun birthday tags are going on gifts to a special guy in my life.

Easy and bright, and hopefully on the boy-ish side, they came together in a snap with

PTI's dies.

PTI January '18 Blog Hop

Hello! And welcome to PTI's January Blog Hop!

This month we were given this photo for inspiration

Looks like a party to me!

With a celebration of pastels and loads of white.

My card was made from Paper Clippings: Birthday, and some inspiration from

Amy Sheffer  (Amy Sheffer - June 2016).

I loved Amy's use of the Double Ups Rectangle die together with the Paper Clippings Birthday

dies cut from white, as though they were connected.

Background is a handmade stencil from Coverplate: Circles,

sponge inked with Spring Rain and Lovely Lady.

The circles and diamonds just add to the celebration going on with the

birthday die cut.

There's so much inspiration from the photo this month.

Can't wait to see how all of you created your cards!

Happy Hopping!
