Transformation Tuesday, a new challenge at PTI, features Laurie this week,
and her Christmas card she transforms into a bright summer card.
I love her cards, and her samples were over the top with their charming layers
of lovlieness!
Laurie wasn't unhappy with her holiday card, just wanted to give it a less season
specific twist. Just what I did with one of my favorites from my Christmas stash.
This last Christmas, I did several of these, with Betsy's Wonderland kit.
The new version is also full of layers, but much lighter, and more summery.
I have a friend who just had back surgery, and this flowery card will hopefully bring her cheer.
Lots of layers, like the first card, with some foam build up too.

I'm drooling over this one girlfriend!! LOVED your Christmas one, and am head over heels in LOVE with this Summery card!! Love, love, LOVE the bright and lighter colors, the layers, the stitched flowers, and oh be still my heart...that pierced frame that you stenciled on is absolutely STUNNING!! Love the Shape Shifter: Square and even your die cut sentiment! I even went so far as to click on the link for the sentiments that you provided, and then thought, "do I have that?" Yep, and the dies too! Oh brother!! So much stuff I don't even know what I have anymore! Think it's time for some serious cleaning out and organization!! But anyway, lovely, lovely card my friend!! :0)
ReplyDeleteOh my word...spectacular Nancy!!
ReplyDeleteNancy your transformation is simply stunning my friend!!
ReplyDeleteI'm crazy over both of your cards Nancy! You've proved that one can improve on perfection. Love them both so much!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it is because I don't want to even think about winter yet, but, to me, your summery card is even more glorious than the Christmas card. I'll probably prefer the Christmas card in December!
ReplyDeleteBoth are stunning! Beautifully done! I like the idea of changing a look for the seasons! Lovely cards...as always, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteThese are both so gorgeous, Nancy! I love the colors and stamps you chose!
