Mistletoe

Nope, this isn't wallpaper, it's 8 Christmas tags lined up like little soldiers for a
photo.
The last of the 25 for friends, boxed and given.

You could almost call this tag CAS, as it's rather clean, and definitely simple.
The circle for the embossed sentiment is the  center throwaway from another tag.
Mistletoe is cut from linen cardstock, and the berries are copper glitter.

Tag base from Tim Holtz' new release. Loving that embossed/debossed edge!

Merry Christmas!

Tag #5 Banner Gift Tag Die

Welcome back for Tag 5 of 25 tags made for a friends Christmas exchange.

8 tags with the wonderful new Banner Gift Tag Die from the Greetery.

The tag was stamped with The Greetery's Pine and Berry Background stamp, and die
cut from Crimped Circle Tag Die. Then the layers begin.  White banner, Diagonal red
and white.

More tomorrow! Have a wonderful day!

Tag #4 Santa's Helper

Just had to add Santa's Helper from Tim Holtz to my tags for friends.

Mentioned in my previous posts, made a series of 25 tags for each of 8 friends
who get together every year for a Favorite Friends dinner. One of my favorite
things is of course paper art!

Sweet Santa's Helper is mounted on the new Tim Holtz tag (middle. size), and don't
you just love how his bootie and cap are off the edges?

It was love at first sight when this guy was released.
Hope you're enjoying the tag parade!

Tag 3: All Wrapped Up

December 11th brings Tag #3, and it's a mix of dies from The Greetery's
newest release: All Wrapped Up.

Received in time to create the 8 I needed for our 'Favorite Things' Dinner.

Here we all are, rockstars, from all over the state, and 2 from Utah!
It's an annual event we just don't miss. And this year was a pajama party!

And, as I mentioned before, my 'Favorite things' included handmade paper tags.

The dried orange slices dies were a favorite this year and I 'dried' them with
Ranger oxide ink and Sheer Shimmer Frost Spray.

This one was a big hit with the group, who loved the dried orange slices!

More tomorrow... stay tuned!
and thanks for the visit!

Tag-2 Harvey

Have you met Harvey? He's the tiny soldier new to the Tim Holtz Christmas
release for 2022,  and he's won my heart!

The holidays bring together a group of friends that have met for years to
celebrate a tradition called 'Favorite Things'. There are 8 of us, and we eat,
drink and are merry in December with gifts that are special to us that we
share.

Because my 'Favorite Things' include anything paper, I created a set of 25 holiday
tags for each friend. Harvey was die cut and assembled 8 times in his holiday
best, and stands at attention on a white splattered MFT tag.

He's double tagged for names to and from.

The greenery is from an older Tim Holtz set, and dipped in paste before
sprinkling with snow glitter.

and that's tag 2. If you come back tomorrow, you can see another tag
created for my gal pals.

Happy Christmas time!

Tag-a-licious!

It's Christmas Time! And I'm bringing you some tags I created using The Greetery's
All Wrapped Up release.

Today's post features the orange slices together with The Banner Gift Tag set.

The tag base is an oldie from MFT, wide and long enough to hold the design.
The base circle was die cut from PTI's Americana and so was the sprigs of
Baby's Breath. I formed a kind of wreath onto the base also including leaves
from Big Branches Ruscus.

At this moment my craft room looks like it's hit by a tornado. No judging, it's how I roll.
I created an assembly line of die cuts for this tag, and several others.
Stay tuned for more.
I plan to bring you a new set of tags every day.
Merry Making, and Merry Christmas!

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 25

Hi Folks! Well, we made it to Day 25... 25 Days of Christmas Tags, the brainchild
of Tracey McNeeley @inmycreativeopinion. Each day a new sponsor with prizes.
Today it's Pretty Pink Posh.

A while ago I was gifted with the Woodland Critters stamp and die set, from

PrettyPink Posh. And I'm using my friend Kim's darling tag below and improvising

with what I have to make a Christmas tag.

My tag is not with a Christmas set but I added a branch and fir and berries to
help you 'see' a bit of winter.

Now, if you visit me at all, you know I love to color, and usually do an OK job
with copics. But guys, it's the day before Thanksgiving, I'm in the middle of
baking, the whole family's here, and I did a rush job on these animals. It's
one I'm not proud of. But I just had to complete the 25 day challenge, and I
did it! 25 Days, many, many, many tags

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 24

Day 24 and Hefty Doodle is the sponsor.  I chose Mona Toth as my inspiration. she did the
tags below

Pretty in Pink I'd say. Lovely little angels, and how sweet are those hearts on top?

I replaced merry with believe, and the angels with fairies, but had to keep the hearts at
the top!
Moving along to the end stretch!

Day 22: 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Day 22, 25 Days of Christmas Tags... how can it possibly be true? Day 22?
Moving along, and the sponsor today is Erin Lee Creative, a company I wasn't
familiar with, and no stamps in the stash. Love that Tracey is introducing all
of us to such diversity!

I chose Lindsey's tag for the reindeer head, round tag shape, & overall
simplicity, and hoped to get close with what I had.

Tags are round, (PTI: Basic Cut Tag), reindeer head (Ellen Hudson), super simple!
Success! Gorgeous foil and glitter papers from Memory Box.
And note, sweet reindeer ribbon is from Target, a couple of years ago. Glad to
finally use it!

Have a great rest of the weekend, and see you tomorrow.

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 20

Day 20! 25 Days of Christmas Tags and the sponsor is the Greetery!
My stash includes several Christmas stamps and dies from the Greetery... OK,
honestly speaking, almost ALL their Christmas sets! (The rest are on the
wish list).

Above is the new paper pack set Betsy is offering in her shop, cut with the speed
tagging die.

My version to stamp the Speed Tagging stamp onto red & green cardstock, and pair
it with foliage from All Blessing Flow and a few of the Botanicuts dies. Seriously love
this quick and easy set, and especially crushing on the new designer papers.
Did I order it? You bet!

Day 19: 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Beware of serious cuteness on this post today!

I warned you! Day 19 of 25 Days Christmas Tags and the sponsor is Waffle Flower.
No Christmas stamps or dies from WF in my collection. I LOVED my friend
Jeanne Jackna's tag (below),  and definitely wanted to create my own version.

Jeanne's style is colorful and always happy. This tag is no exception.
Smiled the minute I saw it!

I chose a few different companies to put my tag together:

SSS: Gnome for the Holidays
Flora & Fauna: Bohemian Woodland Animals
Memory Box: Love Grows
MFT: Treat Tag

Day 18: 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hi my blogging friends! Day 18 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags, and their sponsor
today is Jillian Vance Designs. I had to use stamps and dies in my stash as I have
no GV stamps. So here goes: Muse today is Rosemary Dennis (shhh, I'm a secret stalker
of Rosemary, just love here style and creations!) Here's here tag below

Loved the swag of snowy ferns, and how cute are those pinecones???
Crushed on the scalloped tag too. Anyway, used her layout and elements,
and came up with my tag, below

.

Greetery Botanicuts: Pine Bough (my favorite set ever! Well one of them, anyway)
Poppystamps Pinpoint Main Street Tags, Pinpoint Dome Tag Decorations.
Lots of German Glass Glitter.

See it all on Tracey McNeely's blog:

Day 17: 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Day 17 and the 25 Days of Christmas Tags is on a roll! You have to check out Tracey's
blog, and all the sponsors with their gift certificate prizes, and even some
surprise sponsors too! The tags have been over the top fantastic, both designers and
designers on line. Really the best year so far!
Today's sponsor is Picket Fence. I have no  picket fence stamps or dies, and
was taken with their Christmas line. So much diversity, fun stamps and
elegant stamps, lots of dies too.

I chose Angela Bode's beautiful tag below for several reasons to case.

1st off, it's beautiful. 2nd the tree... I have a wood mounted tree in my stash from
years ago from Hero Arts. It hasn't been inked in forever, and I've always loved
it's graceful image. And 3rd, the bold red snowflakes! Had to give that a try.

The result was such a fun tag, I made 8!

The only difference between them is the largest snowflake on the bottom, just
couldn't decide which I liked better, so I used all three!

My tree is silver embossed, and I added a sentiment also embossed on a black strip.

PTI: Tagsale die

Hero Arts: Evergreen

Memory Box: Snowflake Trio
