Merry and bright

Good Morning!
So much to see on the Poppystamps blog. HolidayBlog Blitz just ended,
and the design team outdid themselves with inspiration and
project ideas. Be sure to drop by for a visit!

More inspiration is up today with my card featuring 2085 Pinpoint Shaker ornament craft die
and it's helper, 1276 Retro Ornaments craft die. I've also used the sentiment set:
The Poppystamp blog is full of holiday merriment. Go check it out!
Crafty hugs everyone!

Blog Hop with Buttons Galore and Poppystamps!

Good Morning!
And a big welcome to the Cross Blog Hop.
You should have reached me from Anaya's blog. If you want to start at the beginning, visit the Poppystamps blog or Buttons Galore and More for all the details,
and a chance to win some Blog Candy!
Ok, let's get right to the fun!
You can't have a hop without some inspiration, right?

How about a Halloween shaker? Filled with goodies from Buttons Galore?
They have the cutest jar of wondrous sparklies called 'Spooky Fun' that I used for filling my shaker.
Included are the big beads I used as bodies for my spiders.
Every thing else is from Poppy's new Halloween release available in the store now.
There's a special sale going on in both stores, so don't miss it!

All righty then, hop along, your next stop is Connie Mercer.
Here's the complete list and links.

PTI's 10th Anniversary: Love

We're celebrating 10 years of stamping with PTI, and
todays focus is stamps produced in 2009.
I didn't have any of the 5 sets hi-lighted, but chose to be
inspired by Dawn's premier set, Damask Designs.
Using another of her sets, Enclosed: Hearts, I made a shaker
with the flower stamp encircling the masked die cut heart.
The stamps in Damask Designs could be used any which way,
and I think that's also true of the sweet little flower stamp in
Enclosed: Heart.

Berry Sorbet, Vintage Jadeite, & Pure Poppy Inks.
Plaid paper from PTI's Beautiful Beads Pink & Orange Mix.
(Remember when we all made paper beads?)

Christmas cottage shaker

I did a Christmas card for a challenge I don't think I've
played along with before,
52 Christmas Card Throwdown.
Their theme this week is: Old Fashioned Christmas

My heart beats a little faster when someone hints vintage!

I used a couple of sets from PapertreyInk, Make It Market: Don't Forget to Write
and Post & Parcel, and stamped my cottage from PTI's Winter Village.
My 'snow' is also from Post & Parcel (stencil included in the kit).
Card base is a die from Don't Forget to Write.
You can find 52 CCT here:

and play along for another 4 days

Have a great week!

Celebrating with PTI!

Continuous celebration at PTI, this week, as they (and we!) celebrate
their 8th anniversary!
Our challenge today is to Spring Into Action!
Use a stamp set that has yet to be inked.

Too many to choose from, I went a little crazy last month.
2 I haven't used were combined on this card,
2015 Birthday Tags & Banner Sentiments with Leave It Be (used before).
Loved Betsy's use of stamping the oval with the leaves from Leave It Be,
with aqua ink, and allowing the white to be a standout.
Made it into a shaker.
Lighting today is awful, folks,
but the scalloped edge die cut around the Limitless Layers oval is New Leaf.
Hawaiian Shores, Stamper's Select White, & Tropical Teal Cardstocks.
Aqua Mist Bitty Dot
New Leaf & Hawaiian Shores Inks.
